Saturday Challenge day at Bugaboo.

Today at Bugaboo there is a new Challenge up for you. It is all about Spring Flowers and Pastel Colors. I love spring except for the allergies. Boy if I had Cats like these two little cuties from Jodie's Shop I'd really have a double whammy allergies problem.
Speaking of The Bugaboo Shop.......Tomorrow is the Big Day. A New and Improved Shop to pick up all your Bugaboo Stamps. I don't know about you but I'm really excited to see the Grand Opening Tomorrow so don't forget to stop in and check it out.
Also don't forget to head on over to the Bugaboo Blog to see what the Design Team has to share with you today and take a gander at the new Bugaboo Blog Design. Woo Hoo! Fantastic.
For my card today I used two Images from the Garden Cat Series and merged them in photoshop and then colored them with Copics. Love these guys
.
The
paper I used is a pad from Heidie Grace and the flowers are from a punch out flower pad to match the paper pad. Here is a close up of the flower.

I hope you all stop by Bugaboo and play along with our Challenge this week and see the new Blog and Store.

A Day For Dasies Cards and Layout

I have been busy playing with some of the new images from A Day For Dasie's.  This first project is from the newest release Fairy Tales. I bought this Bo Bunny paper almost a month ago and I'm just now getting around to using it. I have been a bit busy lately. I used a Sketch for this from Pages In Time Sketch Challenge.

I made all the flowers  using the Tim Holtz flower die cut and Coredinations card stock that I crumpled up and ran through a crimping tool to separate the fibers and then pulled the paper apart for the suede like texture.  The small flowers are made by spritzing silk flower petals with Perfect Pearls Mist. Brads and beads were used for the centers.

I had picked up a package of butterfly stickers somewhere in a dollar bin  and the colors were perfect for these.  I used a transparency over the photo of my granddaughters.

This is the image from a Day For Dasies that I colored with my Copics and cut out. I love the little Frog.
I made this card to send to my Daughter and Grandson (They are waiting for a new baby brother for Logan right now. She is not that big yet.
And this is the other card I have made using an Image from the Peacock Line that came out a couple weeks ago.

I hope you all have a great day.

A New Challenge At Bugaboo.

Good Saturday Morning Everyone. Today is a Challenge Day at Bugaboo and I sure hope you can come and play along with us.
I'm pretty sure everyone is aware of the old saying" April Showers Bring May Flowers"and today we want you to use that theme to create a project to share. The rules and list of prizes are over on the Challenge Blog and that is where you will find all the great samples made by the Design Team. You just have to go check it out.
For my card today I used some really fun post it note paper that I bought on a roll at the Rubbereramma earlier this month, to make masks and the sponged on colors and then I used Bo Bunny papers to create the rest of the scene.
And here is a close up of the little Rainy Day Bear. If you want a good selection of Bear Images Bugaboo has it. Check them out Here.
I used Crystal Effects on just about everything on the image. I just cut extra flowers from the pattern paper and used pop-ups to add the to the top of what was there and a few extras..

Have a great day everyone.

One of My Favorite CS Design Characters

I am such a dork. I thought I had posted this darling card earlier this week and duh no I didn't. Well here it is. This is one of my favorite characters by Chris over at CS Designs. This is Pricilla and there are a few more to choose from in the Store. The sentiment was a freebie last month.

And a little close up. The paper doilies flower is from a My Grafico and the other flowers are from Lettering Delights. I love cut files. For the doilies flower I cut the layers from card stock and then crushed the layers using a crimping machine and scrunching them up and then separating the layers into two and using the rough inside for the front side of the flower. I love this and got the idea from my friend Becky over at Inking Idaho.

I hope you come by and visit and take advantage of the sale goining on until the 30th of the month on the new line of Babushkas. Buy 2 get 1 free. Woo Hoo!
Have a great evening everyone.

Friday Freebie Time At Bugaboo.

Today is another Friday Freebie at Bugaboo and Jodie has chosen this adorable little Brat to highlight. You can find this and a lot more Brats in the shop. I used DCWV papers for this and double sided tape and glitter for the border.  Don't forget to go over to the Bugaboo Blog and check out what the Design Team has to share with you today.

And here is a close-up of the lovely little Brat and of the Tissue Paper Flower. 3 size flowers 4 layers each and a great brad in the center. Very easy and with all the beautiful Tissue Papers out there what a fun flower to make.

I used a sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday for this card today and I love it as always.

.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Time To Pile It On

It is another challenge at Pile It On and do we have an easy one for you. Dig out your Rubber or Acrylic Stamps and get them Inky. I myself have gotten very spoiled by Digi Images. There are so many great artists and it is so quick to get your hands on them that I tend to forget all about my good ole Rubber and Clear stamps.  For this card I used a recent Stampin Up Set and some glossy paper. This is a quick and easy technique where you just stamp your image in embossing ink , heat and then Smooch the paper into some  ink that you have smooched onto a craft sheet and sprayed with water.
The papers I used for this are K&Co. as are the butterflies. The flowers I made from tissue paper and that wonderful little centerpiece that I picked up somewhere.

I used the sketch from The Sweet Stop with a twist: Use winged things.
I will also be entering this in the following Challenges:
Pile It On: Use Rubber or acrylic Stamps
Daring Cardmakers:Spring or Easter
Paper Romance: paper flowers
Sassy Studio Designs: Spring Theme
Stamp Insanity: Flower Power

A New Challenge At Bugaboo.

This weeks Challenge at Bugaboo is all about Easter. We want to see bunnies and lambs and eggs, or maybe  a nice sentiment or Cross. Whatever says Easter to you. Share it Here for a chance to win our usual giveaways. You can get all the details over at the Challenge Blog and while you are there don't forget to check what the other designers have to share with you today.

For my card today I used an image from the Floral Easter Egg series. The papers are some I've had in my stash for a while and the die cut is from a new die that I got at the Rubberama last week.  I used various inks to color the background of the egg shape

Look at that beautiful shimmer. I used some double stick adhesive cut to size and then covered with super fine glitter. Then I colored the rose and leaves with my Copics over the top of the glitter. I printed glittered and cut out a couple of extra roses and popped them up with dimensionals.
I sure hope you all join us this week for our Easter Challenge. Have a great weekend everyone.

It is Friday Freebie at Bugaboo

This week at Bugaboo we are spotlighting this adorable image from the Bugaboo Brats Collection. You can grab this image in the Store on the Freebies page all week long and also check out the other Brats while you are there.  And don't for get to go to the Bugaboo Blog to see what all the Designers made to share with you this week.
For my card this week I used two Bugaboo images. One is from the Floral Egg Collection and then of course the Bunny Brat.

I used these wonderful papers by DCWV and a floral pick left over from Christmas. I cut flowers from the leftover sheet of floral paper and popped them up with dimensional And as you can see from the image below I ended up covering the pink rose on the floral egg with a blue flower. I wanted you to see how cool the Floral Eggs are. The egg is covered in extra fine glitter.
I hope you all come back tomorrow and have a great weekend.

For my example card this week I used some wonderful papers that came in a scrapbook set that I bought last spring at Tuesday Morning and then the flower and butterfly are K & Co.

And here is a close up of Eggbert. When I use this pearlized paper for white images just adding a touch of color here and there is more than enough. I just love this stuff.
