Some Saturated Canary

I love coloring with my Copics, and Saturated Canary Designs just scream out Copics to me. I also love lots of layers and textures and bling. All go well with Krista's Designs. I have three cards today that I have made up in the past couple of weeks.
The first card is for this weeks Challenge #16 over at the Saturated Canary Challenge Blog. The Challenge is to make a Birthday Card.  I used the image: Honey for this. Isn't she pretty? Papers are Prima made the Button flower with pearls, the shape that Honey is printed on is cut with a border die from Stampin Up.

I used gel pens for the highlights in the hair and a glitter gel pen on the petticoat.

For the second card I used My Minds Eye papers a bunch of buttons and the flower center is twisted ribbon. The doily shape is cut with a CherryLynn Die. The Image is Violet
Gel pens are used for highlights.
A lot of buttons. I just love buttons.
Lots of colors and shimmer on this one. And sparkle and glossy glaze.

I hope you all enjoyed these today. Have a great week.

Pile It On For Mothers Day.

Today over at Pile It On we have one of my favorite Designers for a sponsor. My best friends at BUGABOO!

And the Oh so generous Jodie is giving away a prize of 7 Bugaboo Images to a lucky participant in this weeks Pile It On Challenge.
This is a great challenge too Because Mothers Day is just around the corner we would like to see Mothers Day Cards (Without Flowers) Now that is a challenge.
For my card today I used Jodie's image Girl Cupcake Tray.  I printed the image on a piece of digital designer paper in Photoshop and then colored the image with my Copics. I added some Stickles and Glossy Effects here and there and then I put it all together using some digital paper and some My Minds Eye Designer paper. The pink ribbon is SU, the paper doilies are sprayed with perfect pearls mist and the embellie is a button and pearls attached with a large glue dot.
You can see the sparkle better here.

The piece of paper that the snail sits on is a piece of my bubble paper that I made a week ago when my sister came over. The designer papers are Prima. A K&Co flower and a few rain drops finish it off.

New Release Day At Bugaboo

Good Tuesday Morning all. It is time for a new Release over at Bugaboo today and this one is a good one. If you head on over to the Bugaboo Challenge Blog you can see that there is a bit of confusion over what this cute little character might be. The key word is Cute, because he is cute. I'm going with puppy. You should be able to pick this image up in the Bugaboo Store this morning though. The Design Team has done a great job with samples today.
For the image I colored it with my Copics and then I mixed some DG13 Art Gel from Judikins with some of their Superfine Glitter and painted it all over the tea pot.It is hard to see the shimmer from this photo, darn. Papers are My Minds Eye
If you click on this close-up you can see the glitter better.
I hope everyone has a great day.

New Images at Dilly Beans

These are the cutest. But then again all of Megan's images are fantastic. I just love when she puts out new ones. So if you head over to the Dilly Beans Shop Site you can see the new additions and grab some for yourself. I just had to combine a few to create this card. I used #396 Amalia Flower Fairy, #397 Daisy Border and #395 Whimsy Trees. I happened to have some older K&Co. papers and accessories sitting on my desk and they just seemed to be calling out to the new Amalia images.
I colored Amalia with Copics and used some Rock Candy Sickles on her wings and then I printed the trees and the Daisy Border onto print paper and then added a bit of Copics here and there. Love the little K&Co birds cut from a piece of designer paper and the puffy little Daisy's as the flower centers.
I hope you all have a great week and these images would work really well with this weeks Dilly Beans Challenge of Spring.

So it is time for a Freebie over at Bugaboo and Jodie has outdone herself with this one today. Look at all those shopping bags. She is a girl after my own heart. And look at that adorable face and great haircut. She looks just like my sister.

A New Release At Bugaboo

Good Morning everyone. I'm sorry I'm so late this morning but I fell asleep watching TV early last night and slept through the night. I guess I needed it. So today is a New Release Day at Bugaboo and Jodie has some adorable Spring Bird Houses for you. Head over to the Bugaboo Store to grab some for yourself. And don't forget to stop by the Bugaboo Challenge Blog and check out all the wonderful samples by the Design Team.
For my project I worked on a Smash Page again. I had the birdhouse sitting on my desk and started looking for papers and embellies for a card and I just found some of the most awesome pieces I decided to just Smash them all together.
This first photo shows the process. Sometimes I get so much stuff on my workspace there is no room to turn a piece of paper over to glue it.
So here is the finished page. That bird (can't get the shine to go away) might be a little large for that house, you think?

For the birdhouse, I colored it with my Copics and then used Distress Crackle paint for the wood and covered the ladybug with Glossy Accents.

I hope you all have a great day.

After I daubed sprinkeled and sprayed I added Copics here and there on the Butterflies and flowers
I really like the way this turned out.

Dilly Beans Challenge

Good Friday Morning to you all. It is Good Friday today and Sunday is Easter so today over at Dilly Beans Designers and Challenge Blog we would like to see some Easter Creations. Please Head over to the Blog and see what the Design Team has to share with you today. We are a very Creative Bunch of Gals.
For my card today i used one of Megan's New Digi Stamps #392 Amalia. Easter Bunny.  For the piece behind the girl in this I used a Spellbinders Die to cut a piece of paper that I had altered. To do that I took a piece of Glossy Cardstock wadded up a piece of wax paper that was the same size and then placed it over the white paper and ironed it between two pieces of typing paper. I then took a ink pad and smeared ink all over and then buffed it off to get this great piece.
I colored my Image with Copics and then added some Glossy Accents to the dots on the egg. I love the way this turned out.

I hope you all will join us this week for the Easter Challenge over at Dilly Beans.

So if you want to see what the rest of the Design Team has done with this little cutie head over to the Bugaboo Challenge Blog and then to the Bugaboo Store to pick one up for yourself.
For my card I colored the image with Copics and then used a Tim Holtz Texture Fade to emboss the paper that the image was printed on. Then I used Distress Inks and water drops to create the background. The papers are from a new DCWV paper Stack that I picked up today.
The overlays and flower embellies are K&Co.
I hope you have a great day today and I hope you can stop by tomorrow to see what I have done with the Challenge for this week.
