Happy New Release Day At Bugaboo

Happy New Year to everyone and I hope you all have a fantastic time tonight. I am going to my sisters to eat yummy snackies, work on craft projects and watch Walking Dead marathon.
In the meantime it is New Release Day over at Bugaboo and what better way to start the new year than with this adorable image.  This turned out so bright and shiney, who wouldn't love to get a birthday card like this? The papers I used are from a Colorboc pad that I got at Wall Mart.
I colored the image with Copics and added a bit of Glossy Accents and Stickles as well as rhinestones and glitter trim to make it all shine.
And then the inside always looks great when you add a few bits of leftover paper.
I hope you all have a great day and I just want to give you all a heads up on what is coming up over at Bugaboo.  It is time for our 4th Birthday. How fantastic is that? So look forward to a Blog Hop, A challenge a day for the whole week which means tons of chances to win some fantastic prizes. So mark your New Calender.

A close up for you. I used Glitter Mod Podge to add shine to the image. Love that stuff.

Final Day For Holiday Chaos At Bugaboo

You have all been doing such a great job with all the Challenges this week over at the Holiday Chaos Celebration at Bugaboo. Thank you all so much for playing along with us.
So for todays Challenge we want you to take this time to make an Anything Goes Christmas/Holiday Project. How easy is that? If you need inspiration head over to the Bugaboo Challenge Blog and see what all the Designers are up to.
For my card today I used the 3 Square-Tree Image that you can find here in the Bugaboo Store.
I colored the image with Copics and then brushed on a layer of Mod Podge, laid a used dryer sheet on that and brushed another layer of Mod Podge on and then sprinkled the whole thing with chunky glitter. It makes it so shiny when it dries. I love it.
A close up of that cool chunky glitter. I went in when the glitter was dry and used my Copics on the ornaments and the center of the snowflakes.
And inside the card. Plenty of room to write a fun Holiday Greeting.
I hope you all have a great weekend and stay safe out there with all the bad weather across the country. Thanks for stopping by.

Day 3 of Holiday Chaos At Bugaboo

I'm so sorry I'm late getting this posted. I kept getting sidetracked yesterday and totally forgot.
Today is the 3rd day of the Holiday Chaos Festivities over at Bugaboo and it is a New Release Day too. Yippee for us. So the Challenge today is:
Tuesday, December 3 - Cozy Up By The Fire
Pick your FAVORITE way to unwind during the holidays:
Cocoa & Holiday Music
Fuzzy Blanket & a Fire
Egg Nog & a Holiday Movie
Christmas Treats & a Glass of Milk
Take a Nap
And use the recipe below for your creation using today's New Release
(you can find it HERE on 12/3):
Cocoa & Holiday Music - Use the Color Chocolate & Something Silver
Fuzzy Blanket & a Fire - Use Texture and at LEAST 3 layers
Egg Nog & a Holiday Movie - Use the color cream & a Funny sentiment
Christmas Treats & a Glass of Milk - Non-Traditional Christmas Colors & BLING
Take a Nap - Keep it Simple - Use ONLY Cardstock

I chose the Fuzzy Blanket and a Fire (that is a favorite, unfortunately I don't have a fireplace but once in a while my Hubby will build a fire in the fire pit outside and that is great.
So for my card I colored the image with Copics and used some Glossy Accents for some shine and gold gel pen and Stickles for shine.

For the texture I used this gold glitter paper and ran it through my Big Shot in an embossing folder. I also used gold shiny paper and some Stickles. There are 5 layers.

The inside of the card has lots of layers too.

I hope you all have a great day and don't forget there is a big sale going on all month in the Bugaboo Store, so run and stock up.
