New Release Day At Bugaboo

I can't believe that it is the last week of the month already. Time flies when you are having fun. Today is New Release Day at Bugaboo and this week Jodie has given us this darling little one to work with. You can find her at the Bugaboo Store along with a ton of images for every occasion you can think of.
So recently I bought a Silhouette and I am still finding new shapes to cut. So when I found this one I new it would be perfect for an image like this. It frames the little girl just perfectly.  The image itself is colored with Copics and the papers are from a new paper pad from We Are Memory Keepers.
You can see the image much better here. Have you ever been bitten by a ladybug? I have and it hurts. As big as this one is it could take your nose off,
The inside of the card. I think the color combination in this paper pad is going to be perfect for fall.
I hope you all have a wonderful day and I hope I will see you soon. Don't forget to head over to the Bugaboo Challenge Blog and see what the Design Team has to share today.

I colored the image with Copics and fussy cut it out before mounting it on the tag. the tag was painted with layers of Distress Paint and then I used a Tim Holtz Stencil and some Dreamweavers Embossing Paste in Pearlescent. Love the effect.
Here is a close up for you.

Design Team Announcement At PPINKYDOLLS

Well today is the official announcement of the New Design Team over at The PPINKYDOLLS Challenge Blog and I'm very honored to say I am on that team. I first found Chrishanthi Liaropoulou images a couple of months ago and loved them from the get go. They are fun and creative and perfect for coloring and using on cards, layouts and altered art pieces. You can find the Challenge Blog HERE and the Etsy Shop Here .

I hope you all head over to the Challenge Blog and see the list of very talented designers that are on the Team. The first Challenge will be up next Monday and runs for two weeks. Challenges will be twice a month. We look forward to seeing your wonderful creations. There is also a Facebook page HERE.
So this is a card I made this weekend using the image OWL. The papers are My Minds Eye and then there are little bits and pieces from my stash.
Piccolo Instant UV Resin on the eyes and I used a gold metallic pen for highlights in the hair.
The inside is pretty nice too.
So I hope you come visit The PPINKYDOLLS Challenge Blog and the Facebook page often and help make this Artist a great success as you have for so many others out there.

A new Ppinkydoll Card To Share

Here is another new creation using an image from PPINKYDOLLS. You can join us on the facebook page, grab images at Christhanthi's Etsy Shop and/or visit the Challenge Blog. The first Challenge will be starting soon.
For this card I used the image Gigi with a Bird. The papers are from a pad by DCWV (JoAnn.s). I used Copics to color the image and then added Wink Brush in clear (Zig) for some shimmer and Glossy Glaze for the eyes and bird.
I just love that little bird.
And then there is the inside.
So that is what I have been up to along with teaching my various Senior card classes. Next week is the monthly Candlelight Dinners at one of the residences and the theme is Hot August Nights. The students and I will be making table centerpieces. They always do a great job and have fun. I will post some photos this month because these should be great.
I hope you all have a fantastic weekend and come back Monday for a little surprise.

PPinky Dolls New Creepy Girls

So I had time to work on this new image that came out a few days ago in the PPINKY DOLLS Etsy Shop.
If you haven't visited her site yet be sure and do so. You can also find a great group on Facebook and there is a new Challenge blog that will be starting up soon. There is a Design Team Call out now. So now on to the card I made.
I had a hard time with the colors when I edited this. Sorry. The other images turned out okay.
Papers are from My Minds Eye and the image is colored with Copics.
Mulberry paper flowers galore. The heart is a My Memories Die.
A little close up for you. Stickles on the flowers and edge of die.
Her little skeleton pet is pretty cute. I used the Zig, Wink Of Stella Brush in clear on the bows and dress trim and Glossy Glaze on the eyes.
And then inside. Problems with editing on this photo also. I need new lights. I don't like the way they make things so yellow but when I use the flash it can be too much. I wonder how an Ott Lite would work. I saw a small one at Tuesday morning today that wasn't too expensive. Any ideas. I did okay with my other camera I think, only really started having problems with the new one.
I hope everyone has a great rest of the week.

Friday Freebie At Bugaboo

Good Friday morning to you all. I have to tell you all that the Bugaboo Design Team will be on vacation for the next 2 weeks but I will still be here doing some fun projects that I hope you will stop in to see.
For my card today I used some papers from a pad I picked up the other day at Ross.  It is a My Minds Eye called Indie Chic and it was only $5.99. Such a deal. The image is colored with Copics and I had a blast going through my Blue Button Jar to find all these buttons.

I was so happy to finally find a home for this large button I have in my collection.
 And then inside....
So head over to the Bugaboo Store and pick up your Freebie and Come Tomorrow for a Big Surprise. I am just so excited.
