A New Challenge At Bugaboo

It is Saturday and that means a Challenge Day at Bugaboo. We would like to see Anything But A Card this week and if you need any great ideas or inspiration head over to the Challenge Blog and see all the great projects by the Design Team. These will knock your socks off.

For my project I went for a Haunted House (SVG Cuts) inhabited by some fun Halloween Brats and Goofy Ghosts. This was a ton of fun to make. I'll be back in a while with another House.

Here is a closer view. Don't you just love those ghosts and kids?

Have a Great Weekend and I can't wait to see what you have to share.

Friday Freebie At Bugaboo

It is time for a Freebie over at Bugaboo and guess what? Today there are two Freebies for you. Jodie has been so busy and has so many images that she didn't realize that this wizard was already in the store,so if you already have it there is another Kidlet Image for you too. I happen to love them both and all the other Kidlet that are up in the Bugaboo Store today. I have to go shopping.

For my Image today I made an Easel card and of course did it up Halloween style. I used some papers from Recollections (Michael's Stores). I colored the image with Copics and added a few little
embellies. The netting is from the dollar store as are the spiders and the edging is Tissue Tape by Tim Holtz.

 And closer
And very close. Just love this little guy.

So now run over to the Bugaboo Challenge Blog and check out the other great projects by the Design Team and then go grab your Freebies for today. And Have A Great Weekend.

Art With No Boundries Challenge

It is a new challenge week over at Art With No Boundaries and the whole month of October is focused on Halloween and other October Events. Fall Colors, Mulled Cider, Apple Picking, and Thanksgiving in Canada. So we hope you will drop by the Art With No Boundaries Site and Check out what the Designers have to share and what our participants are linking up to Mr. Linkie. And don't forget to add your project.

For my Card today I used this wonderful Image Priscilla Framed Witch. And wait until you see the other Designs that Chris has that will be perfect for your creations for the Challenge.
I used my Copics to color the image and then I mounted her under a transparency that I altered with a little Alcohol Ink. I used Basic Grey Designer Paper for the background and then I ran a piece of Core da Nations card stock through my Big Shot using a spider Web embossing folder. I added some fine glitter to the web design.

You can see the details of the frame better in this shot.

Hope you have a great day and hope to see you back here soon.

New Release Day At Bugaboo.

Where does time go? I can't believe it is October already. I am Happy though because Fall is here and the weather is getting cooler and I just pulled out my fall and Halloween papers and I just love the colors.

Today is a New Release Day over at Bugaboo and Jodie has been fooling around with some new stuff.
The set of images being released are called Silhouettes and wait till you see them all. You can find Them in the Bugaboo Store Today and don't forget to head over  to the Bugaboo Challenge Blog to see what the Design Team has made up to share with you today.

For my card today I chose to go wit all Turquoise Blue because I am so into these colors these days and I loved the way the Silhouette looked. I started by printing the Image on Glossy Card stock and as soon as it came out of the printer I sprinkled clear embossing powder on it. I mean as soon as if not as it is coming out. There is another technique that I learned a year or two back from Mel at Mel Stampz and you gesso the card stock and then print and it takes the embossing powder well. You can find that HERE. I used a sponge and Distress Ink ( Tumbled Glass and Faded Jeans) to color the glossy card stock and then I sprayed on some of my Fave new thing Goosebumbs. I put the card together using some Black and ivory Halloween papers and then I used double sided tape around the edge and sprinkled on some MS Tinsel Glitter. You will be seeing more of  this because a bought a set of 12 colors the other day.

I added a few bats cut from a cool piece of paper I bought over the weekend, How much fun and how easy is this card? I just love the silhouettes and I think you will too.

Have a Great Day everyone.
