I used Bugaboo's Rudolf Images to decorate these books and the Idea came from a tutorial by Becky Roberts over at Inking Idaho. I love all her great ideas. So go check out her stuff. These wonderful page markers are made with Ribbon and some buttons and snowflakes and then a Rudolf on top.
Oh yes and a shopping list pad that I picked up at Dollar store.
For this one I tied two pieces of satin ribbon to the elastic hair band and then on the other end I stitched on a combo of a snowflake and a button.
I stitched a piece of ribbon onto the elastic hair band on this one and then layered the buttons on the other end. Measure the ribbon to fit snugly around your book cover and then just close it by putting the button into the elastic hair band. How easy is that?
I decorated the front of the notepads with paper from DCWV and the Rudolf image is colored with my Copics and then I used micro fine glitter that I picked up at the Scrapbook expo and then used Ice Stickles to cover the white around Rudolf. The Circle was cut with one of the new Nesties that I bought on Friday.
So here are the Three Notebook/To Do List covers that I did, now lets see what you can do? Drop me a comment or leave one over at Bugaboo if you make one of these so we can all see. Please.
