It is Time To Decorate

I had a wonderful Thanksgiving and I hope you did too. This has been a crazy busy week and I did not get as much finished as I had wanted but I do like what I did get finished. Hope you enjoy having a look. This wonderful Easel Card is Mo Manning Image Sticky. And who better to celebrate with than Bella & Bronte. Love this.

These are the ornamentss I made for my sisters family for Thanksgiving. I used ornaments from the Dollar store and then dressed them up. Mo's images for these first two. I colored them ith Copics and then used Modge Podge to paint them on to the snowflake. I added Stickles and some rhinestones and there you go.

Love the bells and this image by Digi Stamp Boutique. Isn't she a sweetie? Sale going on over ther too.

And then there is this little cutie that they have too. You really should run on over there and check out all the great stamps.

And then there is Sticky! Mo has some of the cutest and most wonderful images around.

This is one of my Bead Girlz that I made for my sisters birthday present. I have plans for all these girlz. How cool is this trim I picked up at Pier 1?

And here is a close-up of her cute little face.

This is a new Shirleys2Girls Digi Image. How cute are these two mice? You really must visit Shirleys2Girls for there are some big changes going on and there is a very big sale going on right. They also have a Design Team Call going on right now. So don't forget to visit the site here.

This is a card I did for Whimsey Doodles Wednesday Challenge and then I didn't get it posted in time. I'm a dork. I used Cosmo Cricket papers. The mask has a layer of Crystal Effects on it so it looks like glass.

Have a great week everyone and I will be back with photos soon of my Christmas decorations.

It is almost Thanksgiving Already.

I can't believe that it has been 3 weeks since I posted anything on this blog. My Bad. It has been a whirlwind kind of month. I can't believe that Thanksgiving is this week and then christmas will be here before we know it. I do love Christmas. All the decorations. I am going to start those today as soon as I finish this post. Woo Hoo!
This first card is one I made from an image from Shirlys2Girls for the sketch challenge ( Twisted Thursday. Check out the blog here.

I just had to make this card from my template from Whimsey Doodle .

I bought this Mandala from Soft Pencil last week and I printed it on to 4 different pieces of Basic Grey paper and then cut and layered them to make this box. It is very cool.

This is a freebie from Shirlies2Girls from a week or two ago. I paper pieced the chair and the border punch is a new Martha Stewart. Love this. I decided to just group all of the cards I have been making using Mo's Wonderful Images. She is so darn good. Last night when I got home there were two new images, which I jumped on right away. And then a bit later there was another and then just before I went to bed there was another. This little darling. Fans Lucky Cricket. I paper pieced the clothes on some Origami paper that I have in my stash.

How cute is this penquin? This paper is from a pad by Me an My Big Ideas.

This was for achallenge over at Mo's 2 weeks ago. We were to use a not do traditional fold for our card.

Pull and ta da it is Baby Kia in the snow.

This is a card that I made think I would use it for Maddison's(my 3year old niece) birthday next month but at the last minute my sister called me and she needed a card to give to my other niece who just turned 1 last week. Now I will have to make another card for Maddie. That is not too hard to do.

And I just had to have these two boy images. I wil have to send them to my grandson.

I am really enjoying my Copic markers.

I just love these photos of KayLynn. She will be 5 in just a couple of weeks. It doesn't seem possible. The colors here are Christmasie (how do you spell that anyway?) but I like them a lot. It is that time of year. I really like all the buttons I used here.

It is hard to tell from this photo but I used Diamond Dust all over the flowers and the bird is die cut from glitter paper.

This image by Mo was perfect for an ornament. First I printed the image and then flipped it and printed it again for the back. I colored this with Copics and Shimmering H2O's. I coated the wings with crystal effects and then sprinkled Diamond Dust all over. I decided to start some album pages for this year because I have these beautiful and fun images from Mo's Digital Pencil. I think I will use this for my first page. Look at all the glitter. I punched holes in the background paper with 3 different smowflake punches, then put packing tape on the back and sprinkled glitter all over

These Sentiments (Merry Christmas and Joy from above) are from Walmart. They are the perfect size for Layouts. This is another page for this year.

I used stickles on Bella's hat and ear muffs and I colored the images with Copics and colored pencils.

And then there is this adorable mouse by The Digi Stamp Boutique.

I just love this little guy. Papers are Basic Grey. I painted the background of the mouse circle with Tim Holtz Rock Candy crackle paint. Makes the mouse puff out a little.

Have a great week everyone. I have to make an effort to come here at least every other day. I look at all the blogs I visit and the reason I love them is that they always have new stuff. I want my Blog to be like that so I am going to make a big effort to do that. Yea!

The Sampler

I have been working on these 4 layouts and the card for a Design Team Call for Scrap Booking Supplies R Us. An online supply website. They have a huge selection and you must check them out here. They are going to be offering a monthly kit club (The Sampler) in addition to their online store and I would love to be on this Design Team.
The papers on this are Little Yellow Bicycle. I just love these vintage shots of movie stars. They are so elegant and make for some beautiful layouts. It is always fun to match up the perfect papers with the image. I use one of the new MS punches on the copper/brown paper and then added stickles. I used two different colors of rhinestones on this page and this wonderful piece down the center of this photo is made using yarn, Textiva fusible film and rhinestones.
I used very fine tulle under the frame that I cut from the pattern paper.

My Grandsons visit. He is pretty darn cute and he is Two. What a handful. I used the New Websters Papers on this layout and some embelishments that I pulled out of my stash. I also added Distress Crackle Paint to the photos and some stickles and rhinestones here and there. The letter brads are attached over a piece of Tim Holtz film strip and the acrylic leaves have been accented with stickles as well as the butterflies.

Logans face is framed with an acrylic overlay and you can see a close up here of the crackle paint. When the paint dried I covered it with a coat of Mod Podge so it soesn't flake off. It makes if pretty durable.

I used a Digital mask on this photo of my granddaughter. I also used some Little Yellow Bicycle Paper and the flowers and leaves are cut from a piece of Amanda Blue & Co. paper.I stamped the Butterflies onto DP and then highlighted them with stickles. The borders of the background paper have been sponged wit ink and then stamped and highlighted with stickles also.

This shows a good close-up of the layers. The beads across the top is from a Christmas Garland, the cut out is a Sizzix die cut, the floral lace punch is MS and the photograph was done with a digital mask and paper and then printed onto photo paper. I then punched holes in the edges and backed that with packing tape and added glitter. rhinestone flourish I picked up at the Scrapbook convention earlier this month.

This layout was done using some Dream Street Paper, some of my hand altered paper and digital printed flowers. The chipboard accents I found in my stash and the leaves were die cut with a Sizzix die. Across the bottom of the yellow sheet of paper I punched circles with 3 size hole punches, ran a strip of packing tape underneath and then sprinkled with MS fine glitter.

This card is one of two that I made yesterday using this image by Mo Manning. I painted 3 different size images (oh the joy of digital images) and painted the Polar Bear with sparkling H2O's and colored the girl with my Copics. I masked off the image and sponged on three different shades of blue ink. The papers I used on this one is Little Yellow Bicycle and some holographic paper. The snowflakes are from a Christmas garland I found and punched holograph paper snowflakes.

For the background I sprinkled water on the sponged blues and when that dried I highlighted the spots with white gel pen and stickles. The snowflakes were stamped with versamark and clear embossing powder before I sponged on the blue.

This is the sme image only a bit bigger on a square card.

Have a great day everyone!
