A Halloween Banner

Good Morning All. Well my husband thinks I've finally gone over the edge. You see I never really put up decorations for Halloween, let alone in September, but I just couldn't help myself. And Here is why.
A couple of weeks ago while at Michaels I picked up this nifty Halloween banner by Recollections. ( and the MS, mouse silhouettes ) Well I just had to dress up the banner a little bit. I used a bunch of Bugaboo images to make this even more fun. You can find all the images over in the Bugaboo Store.
It is hard to see the details in this shot but I have more.
 A little bit closer view
So starting from the center, here are the detail photos.
I just had to use Stella for the centerpiece.

You can find this image Here.
I used shimmering watercolors to paint the moon.
All of these images can be found in the Singles Section of the Bugaboo Store under Babies and Kids.
Skelekinz, Ava and Deacon and Bugaboo Brats. The Ghosts and Cats can be found Here.  If you Double click on each image you can see it bigger if you want more detail.
Here is a close up of the Bugaboo Images.  I did all the pieces this way, broken up in threes.

Isn't this Fun? It only took about 4 days to color all the images and put it all together and so worth it. I have a couple more projects I have to finish up and I will post those over the weekend.  I'm off to the dollar store to pick up more decorations for the house this morning.
I will be entering this in the following Challenges this week:
4 Crafty Chicks: Anything Goes
Art Impressions Stamps: Halloween
Crafty Ribbons Challenge: Halloween Projects
Cute Card Thursday: Animals (the kats on the banner pieces)
Just For Fun: Anything But A Card
Moving Along With The Times: Halloween Cards (project)
Stampin B's: Halloween Card
Little Darlings Challenge: Fall or Halloween
Have a Great weekend.

Friday Freebie At Bugaboo

Today is Friday Freebie Day over at Bugaboo and there are some Great Framed Images in the Store today. We had a choice of two to work with for today. The Freebie which is a really Cute and Fun Birthday Cake and the Birthday Fishes which I used. You can find a lot of examples of both over on the Bugaboo Challenge Blog this morning by our talented Design Team. After you check those out run to the Bugaboo Store and grab your Freebie.
I used my Copics to color the image and the papers are from Pebbles. (A new to me company)

I used goose bumps for the texture and also sprayed on a little Tattered Angels.  This is a tiny bit shiney so it is hard to photograph..

I hope you all have a great day.

So for my card today I used the Image Tambry, a Frankenstein.
the papers are a little bit of everything Halloween. The image was colored with Copics and the background of the image is Tattered Angels Mist.
I used a gel pen for the highlights in the hair and glossy accents on the eyes.
I hope you enjoyed this and go check out the Saturated Canary Challenge Blog Thursday for a new challenge.

A New Layout

I recently bought all this beautiful Bo Bunny paper and some embellies and I finally have the time to photograph the finished product and post this.
Every once in a while I watch my new dog Pendelton and it so reminds me of our little Pearl and it just makes my heart ache. I think Pearl would have liked Pendelton, even though she really didn't like many dogs much. She thought she was above others I think. Our fault for treating her like a person I guess. Anyway I like to think she would have befriended Pendy since he is so timid.

Pearl and KayLynn and Claudette were very good friends. I have some fun photos of all of them.

The overall Layout:
I used one of the Mats that come in a sheet of 4 and cut the center out to frame my girls. I painted the background of the photograph with Crackel paint.
There is also a sheet of Chipboard pieces that are so fun. The owl here has Glossy Glaze on the eyes and Crackle Paint on his chest.
The flower piece on the right is cut from one of the Designer Papers and added with pop ups. I did faux stitching on the stems
I cut the butterflies with a SVG file from La La Studios.
Flowers are cut from pattern paper, crumpled and sprayed with Shimmer spray and Stickeled around the edges.
The border punch I used on the purple glitter paper is a new one from EK Sucess
 A Very Pretty OWL
I hope you enjoyed this and I hope you come back tomorrow.
