Oldie But Goodie At Bugaboo

Good Thursday Morning to You. Today at Bugaboo is Oldie But Goodie Day. I think this is one of my favorite Characters from Bugaboo. Scarlette is just so Sassy. Of course there are a few more Sassy Girls in the shop these days too. You must check these Sassy Gals out.
Don't forget to head over to the Challenge Blog and see what some of the other Design Team Members have to share with you today.
This image brings back such Happy Memories. Sitting in a hot bath with a cigarette and glass of wine. Oh well, not any more. No more smoking, no more drinking. My heart likes me a lot more.
I used some Digital Paper for the pink (don't remember who I got it from) and then I pulled an overlay (the black flourish) onto the pink and then I layed down the Scarlette image and then printed it out, colored it up and built a card. I used some SVG papers that I have in my stash and cut the butterflies out and used dimensionals to pop them up.
Have a Great Day.

New Release Day at Bugaboo

It is New Release Day at Bugaboo and look at the adorable images Jodie has for you today. You can run on over to the Bugaboo Shop and pick some up for yourself. Quick like a Bunny because Jodie is having her "Moving Is Expensive" Sale going on through July 31st. You can get this whole set for 1/2 off if you want and any other stamps in the shop too. Woo Hoo. We love a great sale.
To make this card, I took two of the images moved them one at a time onto a new worksurface and then erased the faces and added hair to the back of the heads. Then I pulled over two more images and then erased anything that showed through from the first images. I added the mirror lines and the bar using my new Wacom tablet. That didn't work real well the lines were all wiggley so I ended up drawing in the mirror lines after I printed the photo. I used my Copics to color the image and then Stickles on the skirt and crown and Crystal Effects on shoes and bow. The paper is Basic Grey and the CARD SKETCH is from our very own SCRAPPY. You can find the sketch here and a new one every Sunday on the Bugaboo Challenge Blog.
Don't frget we have a Challenge going right now on the Challenge Blog. Get a card made and enter for a chance to win some Bugaboo Images. While you are there check out what the Design Team has to share with you today using the New Images.
Have a great day everyone.

Friday Freebie at Bugaboo

If you liked the Jacobean Birds ( I used one on top here) or the Butterfly borders (I did not use one here) you are going to love these Jacobean Blocks that Jodie has for us this week.
Todays freebie is one of the Jacobean blocks so run over to the shop and grab yours. And, And, And....Jocie is having a huge sale all week. 50% off everything. So stock up while you can. This will be the last Big Sale of the year. This would be a great time to pick up some fun Christmas Images. Head on over to the Challenge Blog and check out what all the Design Team Members have to share with you today.
For this card I printed the block in two sizes , sponged ink in three different colors on th blocks, colored and used Stickles on the flowers , layered them up and then printed the Jacobean Bird onto a pattern paper and added some Stickels and Copics. I used dimensionals to layer the top pieces. I think this design would make a really nice Christmas card with the right colors. I'm off to experiment.
Have a Great Day everyone.

A Blog Hop at Tiddly Inks

Here is something new and different to me. I found this site about a month ago and I love the images. The girl reminds me of my oldest granddaughter. There is a little curly haired image that reminds me of the youngest granddaughter. Anyway when I saw that there would be a Blog Hop today I wanted to play too. So to join in the hop you can go to The Tiddly Inks Blog Here and read all the details. There will be prizes. the theme for the Hop is Halloween In July and there are a bunch of totally cool images in the Shop that will work perfectly for Halloween. My first card is made using a combination of two images from Tiddly Inks and the spider web and Spooky are Studio G dollar stamps. The paper is from last years Bo Bunny and Basic Grey Halloween lines. I made a mask for the images and then a stencil for the clouds and used Distress Ink for the cloudy sky and colored the image with my copics.

This card uses Tiddly Inks Alice Images and the new Graphic 45 paper pad Halloween In Wonderland. Again the images were colored with Copics.
So now go back to the Challenge blog and go to the next Mr. Linky site to continue on your Hoppie Way.

Have a great day everyone and I will see you back here tomorrow for New Release Day for Bugaboo I hope.

New Release Tuesday at Bugaboo

Today is New Release Day over at Bugaboo and wait till you see the great New Images Jodie has for you today. I used this border for this card and some of the new Basic Grey paper, Olivia. I printed the image once and then cropped and printed three extra butterflies, cut the butterflies out and colored and used pop ups to add dimension. Isn't this a wonderful image. And then we have this wonderful little Bobble Head Santa. I got so excited when I saw this image and then when digging for Christmas paper to use. Don't forget to come back Friday for Friday Freebie and then Sat. for our next challenge. Especially if you are crazy for Christmas like I am. This is some Bo Bunny paper that I have from last season, some wonderful ribbons and the snowflakes are punched with my MS large snowflake punch. Woo Hoo!

I added this because the way the light hits Santa you can see the Diamond Dust glitter better. Just love this chunky stuff. You should try this if you haven't yet. Great for snow.

Don't forget to head over to the Challenge Blog to see what the Design Team Members have for you today.I bought a Wacomb Craft Tablet yesterday and this is one thing I did after I finally got through loading new software and trying to figure out how to use this thing. It will take awhile to learn how to use the pen and the touch function. I love the way this turned out but I can't remember what I did. I will have to figure it out because I like this effect.

Have a great day everyone.

A Pretty Pink Card

I finally got to color my image from Pollycraft Store that I bought a bit ago. Is this cute or what? I did this for the Challenge # 50 this week at Pollycraft which was to use Pink. Lots of pink. I think I covered that. I used Stampin Up' paper and colored the image with my copics. This card also works for the I Love Digi Challenge Blog # 10 which is to Emboss. The pink glittery frame is embossed with a Cuttlebug folder.
It also works for Sew Many Cards challenge #19 which is Anything Goes.
Have a great 4th of July.

How perfect for this weekend is this? There are more at the Bugaboo Store today too but don't forget to go and pick up your Freebie first. I used We Are Memory Makers paper for this card. I just love the built in glitter on the paper. The sketch is from Sweet Sketch Wednesday,(Bugaboo is the sponsor this week at Sweet Sketch so you can have a chance to win some Bugaboo images if you make a card and submit it.I turned the sketch and used a rectangle rather than an oval and words instead of brads. The image is colored with copics.
Stop by the Bugaboo Challenge Blog to check out what all the other design team members have to share with you today.
Have a wonderful holiday everyone. I hope to.
