New Release Day at Bugaboo

Today is a New Release Day At Bugaboo and wait till you see these. I love Gus and all the wittie little sayings that come out of his mouth but this one is a dozy.  You really have to run over to the Bugaboo Challenge Blog and check out all the wonderful creations that the Design Team has put together today and then run to the Bugaboo Store and grab some new Images for yourself. They will make you giggle!
For my sample today I used some New Basic Grey Papers that I picked up on Saturday.
I colored the image with my Copics and I thought the bottle caps would be a nice embellie. I couldn't find the right words to put into the bottom of the caps so I filled them up with some various glitters and added Judi Kins 3D Gel. Pretty Fun Hu?
Here is a close up of the bottle caps. I also used Crystal Effects on the bottles and eyeglasses.

The Sketch
I will be entering this into the following Challenges:

Challenge Day At Bugaboo

It's a Challenge Day At Bugaboo again and because July 4th is fast approaching we want to see the good ole Red, White and Blue and some Ribbon too. I wanted to focus on family so I used the recent release Fruit Fly; Scene It image (Here) . No I don't live with a bunch of fruits or flys but I do have a family that like to get together for celebrations, Picnics and all that good stuff. And 4th of July is always a good Get together.
I used some papers that I picked up last year by DCWV and I also had a bunch of embellishments that went with the paper pads. The piece behind the image is cut from a gift bag that I picked up at the Dollar Store. The ribbon is one of the bag handles. How clever and resourceful am I?
Now you should run on over to the Bugaboo Challenge Blog and see what the other Designers have to share today and check out all the Details on the Challenge and prizes this week.
A fun little close up. I colored this with my Copics and used Stickles on the wings.
Don't for get to head over to our Face Book page and become a follower. We are in the midst of a Drive to increase our membership there and two $25.00 gift Certificates are up for grabs as well as a really cute freebie. So go HERE for details.

I used the sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday for this:
I will also enter this in the following challenges:

A New Alphabet Challenge at CS Designs

I just love Alphabet Challenges and this week at CS Designs we move on to the Letter  B  which fit in perfectly with something I've been wanting to make for my Granddaughters. I'm going to add a gift card for Borders and they will be all set for some summer reading fun. So come join us at Paper Craft Planet or Simply Scrappin Crafts for our weekly Challenges for a Chance to win some totally fantastic CS Design Images.

So here are the two bookmarks together. I have used some glitter card stock for the base as well as some Mulberry paper from my misc paper pack and some really pretty ribbons and fibers and some bead work.
I used one of the new Solitare/ Behind the Mask Images for this bookmark for my granddaughter KayLynn. She just graduated from kindergarten. Isn't the sentiment for a six year old.  The piece behind the image is made using one of the Templates from the Spirelli Templates Manual Kit that you can find in the CSDesigns Store.  The little piece on the end of the beaded portion is made by printing two small images and using dimensionals to hold it on the beading wire.
And a close up for detail.
For this bookmark for Claudette I used the Art Montage/ Celestial Goddess Image and colored it with my Copics and did the same Spirelli Design that I did for the Bookmark above. The sentiment is from CS Designs too. Perfect for a 12 and a half year old girl.
Again the detail. I just love those mulberry papers
On the backs I used a Tim Holt's mask, stamps and Distress Ink and flicked on some water drops
I will be entering these in the following challenges:
Make It Monday: Anything Goes
Crazy 4 Challenges: use floss, twine or string
Crafts 4 Eternity: Recipie Challenge objects starting with R (ribbon)( round)
Have a great day everyone.

New Release Day At Bugaboo.

Today is New Release Day At Bugaboo and wait till you see the cuties that Jodie has for you today.

There are two new Card Kits for you to try. Everything you need to make a card or two or three. Background papers, Borders, Sentiment and Images. And...And ...you get both colored version and Black and white jpeg and png. You must run over to the Challenge Blog and see what the Design Team has to share for you and the run to the STORE and pick your Set /s now.

I chose to make a card with the Chameleon Set today. I love how bright and cheerful this is.I used my Copics to color these images and then I punched some circles from double sided tape and sprinkled glitter and flocking on those. I cut one of the chameleon's from the background paper and popped him up on the bottom part of the card and then of course the main Image is hiding a secret.

So when you swing the Chameleon up you see the Sentiment.
And here is the image for the Inside.
How Cute Are These?

A New Challenge At CS Designs.

There is a new challenge up at the CS Design Groups at Paper Craft Planet and Simply Scrappin Designs. I really hope you can come by and join us soon.
" Last week CS Designs released a new series of Digital Stamps called Darlings of the Orient. These little Asian Squares are expressive and versatile and suitable for all kinds of Altered art, collage, art tags, ATCs, Inchies, Twinchies, Paper Art Dolls and Mixed Media Art".
" In celebration of the new release, this weeks challenge is another anything goes but the main focal point of your project must be Asian and be in the shape of a Perfect Square."

For my card I used the Image Cherry Blossom.  The papers are from a pack that I bought a long time ago at a Craft Store and it is so nice to have these great images to use with the papers.

The acrylic piece that I used over the top of the Square main image is colored with alcohol ink and then I used Stickles and Rhinestones. These overlays are so easy to make using your Nesties or SVG cut files. You can stamp on them with staz-on too.
I hope you all have a great day.

For my card I chose to use a square base but all the papers on the top of the card are different angles.
I couldnt figure out how to make the flowers angles so I just wnt ahead of these little cuties.
The Image is Emo Amber in Umbrella Huddle and I colored it with my Copics.

These papers are from one of those paper packs that you can buy at Michaels and it has a bunch of different patterns and textures and sizes in it. They have some great things in there.

A New Challenge At CS Designs.

It is time for another Challenge over at CS Designs. This week it is all about Mysterious. Make something that evokes the air Of Mystery. Be it an image, a sentiment, a hidden pocket.

If you head over to the CS Design Group at Paper Craft Planet or Simply Scrappin Crafts you can find all the details and see the creations by our Design Team.

Chris has some New Images and Sentiments In the Shop this week that would make for the perfect project for this challenge.

For my project I made a wonderful Bead Girl using the new Swirl and Monocle and the True Beauty Sentiment.

And here is a close up. You can see the tiny little rhinestones on the monocle and the great flourish on her skirt.

So I really hope you can come and play this week.

A Fun Little Layout and Card

A Couple weeks ago I bought these wonderful new images from Tiddly Inks and I knew I had the perfect papers and subject matter for a fantastic Layout. My Granddaughters a few years ago. I think this was one of Claudettes Birthdays.
I had bought this paper from Bo Bunny a couple of months ago and I'm so happy I finally had time to use it.

Here is a a shot of the stitching (yes by hand) that I did on the background paper.

And here is a detail shot of the adorable Little Claire "Make A Wish" I love those shoes.

I used some of the embellishment's that I had bought that go with the papers  for decorations and the center of one of the flowers.

Love the Ribbon and those sweet little faces.

One of the other images I bought is this Little Claire "Boom Little Lily" for a sweet little card.
I used my Nesties to cut the frame.
The gems are taken off a Dollar Store Christmas ornament. You never know what your going to find out there. I got a lot of gems off that one ornament. Can't beat the price.

I hope you all have a great day.
