Pile It On: A New Challenge

The challenge this week over at Pile It On is April Showers Bring May Flowers. I have to tell you I do not remember too many showers but I have a Ton Of Flowers in my yard going into May. I just love flowers. I love Spring. Great time of year.
Today we have  Gingerloft Digi Stamps as our sponsor and you have a chance to win 3 digis of your choice for participating.

For my card today I used the Bird House Swirl Digi: I colored the image with Copics and Distress Stains. The background image shape is a Sizzix Die and the papers are (JoAnn's) Kathy Davis. Love these papers and all the embellies.

The flowers are cut from the side border of one of the pieces of paper and then the small flowers that are popped up are cut from a border embelishment and topped off with a rhinestone.
 And insid the card.

Stella Says Sketch

I totally forgot to Post this yesterday and I'm so sorry. It is another day for Stella Says Sketch over at Bugaboo and we would love to have you play along with us this week.  Here is the great Sketch we have for you:
You can find all the details and prize information over at the Bugaboo Challenge Blog and see what the Designers came up with using this great sketch .
For my card today I used some papers by Authentique and the image is Jacobean Bird #4.
A close up for you. Love the image printed on the pastel green paper. I used liquid pearls for the dots and colored the image with Copics.
I had the hardest time photographing this color of pink for some reason. It is not really so bright. This photo tells me that there is a lot more cyan in this pink than you would think.

I hope you all have a great week and I can't wait to see what you come up with.

Dilly Beans And A Flower Challenge.

It is all about flowers this week for the Challenge over at Dilly Beans. It is finally starting to look a lot like Spring around here. The weather has been beautiful, other than the North Wind that would blow you away if you stepped outside. Small price to pay. The rose bushes in my garden are going nuts.
This rose has the most beautiful spicy scent.
This is an old fashioned rose in what we call Mommas Garden. We fixed it all up when my Mom moved in so it was easy for her to get around in.
This looks so much different this morning. All opened up. Need to get a photo of that.
So, on to my card for the Challenge this week at Dilly Beans. The image is #414 Jenna Framed.
You can find a Bunch of flower images Here in this section of the Dilly Beans Store. The papers re Colorbok, again.
A closeup of the image. I like the way her hair turned out. Those colors are great. Copics Y23 and YR24. Just two colors. Cool hu?
The flower is a combination of a die cut (Memory Box) glittered and layered over fussy cut layers of a piece of the pattern paper.
 And inside the card.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and can get out and Smell The Roses. Or make a card using some.

Friday Freebie At Bugaboo

How about a little Moo Cow for the Friday Freebie over at Bugaboo today. the Design Team has some fantastic examples for you on the Challenge Blog so head on over there and take a look. Then go to the Bugaboo Store and grab up a Freebie for yourself.
For my card today I decided that Pink would be fun. The papers are from a Colorbok pad I picked up at Wall Mart and the image is colored with Copics. I used Glossy Accents on the nose and flower.
The flower and leaves on the lower left are Cherry Lynn Die Cuts and the Frame for the Cow is with a new Spellbinders Die that I got at the Rubberramma Convention this last weekend. Just beautiful.
I hope you all have a great weekend.

New Release At Bugaboo

Tuesday Release Day at Bugaboo. This week we are getting into spring. The weather here has been beautiful and I have spent a lot of time outside but I still have time to make cards, especially when the images are so darn cute. For my card today I colored the image with Copics and added some Glimmer Mist here and there. The papers are Colorbok and the flowers and leaves are Cherry Lynn Dies that I bought on Saturday at the Rubberaramma Show.
I flicked the blue mist on after I lightly sprayed it with Biscotti colored Mist.
 Love the flowers

 And inside the card.
I used the Sketch for the challenge over at Pink Gem Challenge Blog, which I will be entering.
Have a great day everyone.

For my card this week I used "Springtime Garden", rubber stamp set. I used the bird house on a pole image and colored it with Copics. I embossed the blue background paper with a new Stampin Up' folder and the background of the birdhouse with another New to me folder. The bird house roof is embossed with Glassy Glaze embossing powder and the house and pole with Stampendous Rainbow Crystal.
A close-up. I rubbed eggplant colored ink on the embossed center piece of paper.
