Friday Freebie At Bugaboo

There goes another week. My granddaughters go back to school on Thursday and it is just a couple weeks until fall. Whoopee. Jodie has a great Sock Monkey for the Freebie today over at Bugaboo and I decided that because My older Granddaughter really likes Sock Monkeys this would be perfect. I decided that she need a large smash book that is dedicated to her freshman year. I got her one of the Large Red Smash books with pockets and then stuffed the pockes full of  things she might need to have fun.I got my 7 year old granddaughter a Medium Red Smash Book and gave her a bunch of stuff too. They loved them.
And here is the Friday Freebie From Bugaboo this week.  Is this cute or what? Gee I wonder what else is in the Shop today. You should run and check it out and pick up your Friday Freebie while you are there.
Pockets full of stuff: What teenager wouldn't love this?

So the Design Team has some wonderful projects to share with you today over at the Bugaboo Challenge Blog so run and see.
I hope you all have a great day and a wonderful long weekend.

Friday Freebie at Bugaboo

Well this week just flew by. I am happy though that it is Friday because that means a new Freebie over at Bugaboo. Woo Whoo! And this is another cutie by Jodie. I have really become a fan of Halloween over the past few years and I owe it all to my being on the Design Team over at Bugaboo. Jodie just comes up with the cutest images I can't help not get caught up in the Fun of it all. So I know it is a little early but I just had to make these cuties into a Halloween card.
For my card today I pulled out some paper from a pad I bought a couple years ago by Cloud 9. I colored the images with Copics and added a little glitter and shine to some of the elements. Oh yea and buttons.
A nice close up so you can see the layers better.
So now run over to the Bugaboo Challenge Blog and see what the other Designers have done today and then run to the Bugaboo Store and grab your Freebie. Have a great weekend All.

Well here it is Tuesday again and time for a New Release over at Bugaboo.  And since it is time for back to school the Image the Design Team used today is just perfect. And very cute. My aunt used to make Sock Monkeys and what I wouldn't give to have one of those now. I do have a rice sock made from one of these socks for aches and pains.
The papers I used for this are some that I have had for several years now. I love the monkey overlay even if it is hard to photograph. The image itself is colored with Copics.
This close up turned out well with the light. Not too much glare.I really like the little bug stickers.

For my card today I used Megan's image #429, Happy Day Framed. I colored her with my Copics and then tore the edges and distressed them with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. For the background papers I distressed the edges of the papers and inked them also and the What A Day piece as well as the flower were sprayed with Perfect Pearls Mist.

My Etsy Shop Is Open

This has taken forever for me to do but finally I have items in my Etsy Shop: I Have Prettier Stuff The Store. or if you type in Ihaveprettierstuffetsy it shows or you can just click the links here or go to the side bar and click there. So I don't have many items listed yet but I will be adding more every day. It takes a bit to photograph, edit and then list things but it is so much fun.
So to kick things off I made this card using one of the Clusters I have for sale and an image from Dilly Beans Stamps.  I used #430 Scull Bow Girl Framed.
So the clusters are meant to be used for cards or layouts and are made with the idea that all you need to do is add an image or photo and/or a sentiment and you are ready to go.
A close up of the image.

So with this cluster #103, you get the 4.5"X6.5" cluster and 3 butterflies for $2.00. They can be turned any way you like.
So please check out the store all week as I add more items and of course I would love to have a sale or two.
 Have a great week!

A New Challenge At Dilly Beans

Our Challenge at Dilly Beans this week is a bit late this week but well worth the wait. This week the Challenge is to do something with sewing. Either real or faux stitching, or both. Let us see your needle work. The Design Team has some great samples for you over at the Dilly Beans Designers and Challenge Blog so don't forget to head over there to check them out.
For my card this week I used Megan's  # 406 Worried Skellie.

The papers I used here are from a Colorbock Pad from Wall Mart. Can you believe it? The butterflies are from a cut file from LaLa Studios. I colored the image with Copics and I hand stitched the border and the mouth. Totally Cute Hu?
And here is a close up for you.
I hope you all have a great week and I can't wait to see what you have to share with us.
