There is a challenge up over at Our Creative Corner this week and they want to see some faces. Well I chose to make this Halloween Card using the Solitaire Image Swirl And Monocle. The image is colored with my Copics and the border is a Martha Stewart Adhesive Strip.
And here is a close up. Love using the rub-ons.

New Release Day at Bugaboo and a Special Project

Today is New Release Day At Bugaboo and these images are great.Jodie comes up with the best designs ever. You really need to run over to the Bugaboo Challenge Blog and see all the fantastic projects by the Design Team. It is so much fun to see all the different interpretations of a single design. After that run on over to the Bugaboo Store and grab some new images up for yourself.
For this card today I used My Minds Eye paper, some Stickels and a lovely die cut frame cut from one of my Nesties. The Butterfly is cut using a new die by Cherry Lynn Design that I picked up at the Scrapbook Expo last Friday. The image is colored with copics and then sprayed with Goosebumps and some Pearl Mist.
You can see the shimmer really well here.
Bugaboo is Sponsoring the Shopping Our Stash Challenge Blog for this weeks Challenge. Bugaboo will be sponsoring their Challenge once a month so there are some more opportunities for you to win some Bugaboo Images. Yea!
So the Challenge this week is to show off those Halloween/Fall colors.  For my project I used several of Jodie's wonderful Fall Images and You can find them all here at the Bugaboo Store.
This is the handy tool I bought by We are Memory Keepers at the Scrapbook Convention also.

So when you thread the ribbon through the slots.....this is what it looks like.

It is still hard to see but I used Glossy Glaze on the eyes and the patches.

I hope you all have a great Day and I hope you come back soon.

Art With No Boundaries Challenge

It is the last week of the month and that means it is your last chance to get those Halloween/Fall projects finished and posted over at Art With No Boundaries. It has been so much fun seeing all the great ideas you all have come up with so far and the design team has been doing an awesome job too.

For my project this week I used the image Haunting Apparition 4 Dementia. I used some Colorbock papers and some tabletop confetti for the spiders. I colored the image with Copics and then added glossy glaze to the eyes and lips. The ribbon across the bottom is threaded through punched slots that I made using my new Ribbon Easy toolby We Are Memory Makers that I bought at the Scrapbook Convention last Friday.
And a Close-Up. I used rub-ons for the words and spider web around the outer edge and the spiders are from Wall Mart Halloween Dept. Tabletop Confetti.
Have a great day and week and I can't wait to see all the new projects you share.

Challenge Day At Bugaboo

It is time for a new Challenge over at Bugaboo. This week it is all about Homecoming and School Colors. Now if you were like me, homecoming was not on my dance card. #1 I went to a different High school every year that I was in school and College was raising kids and getting the classes in between everything else. Also the crowds I hung out with in school just didn't do dances. We were much more like Alice Here.
For my card this week I used Jodies wonderful Bobble head Kid Alice and papers by Colorbok. I printed the image on iridescent paper which I love to work with.
Isn't that paper cool. It too is Colorbok (JoAnns)
Now run over to the Bugaboo Challenge Blog and check out the great examples by the Design Team and then Join us for some good ole Homecoming Memories.
Have a great weekend everyone.

Today is a big day for me. First it is Freebie Day at Bugaboo and second Bugaboo is sponsoring Christmas All Year Long this week and I was asked to make a card sample for the challenge. Head over to the Bugaboo Challenge Blog to see other cards and get all the details.I am also going to a Scrapbook Convention today and Saturday is the Grand Opening Of Our Very First Hobby Lobby here in Northern California. Now that is just about too much excitement for One Girl. But I think I will Survive.

So first let me start with Christmas Stamping All Year Long.

                                                        image
The Challenge this week is to use Lots Of Sparkle. I think I got that covered. I used new papers by Simple Stories, some shiny gold and glittery red paper as well as some extra fine glitter for the ornament. That is Jodie's cute little Christmas Brat  Girl Elf sitting on top of the Ornament. I used the Sketch for October  from Creative Craft World for this. This also fits their Card Challenge for this week which is Show Us Your Numbers.
You can see the glitter a little better in this shot.

Saturday Challenge At Bugaboo.

It is time for a new Challenge over at Bugaboo. You all did such a great job last week so let's see what you have to share this week. The Challenge is all about Animal Antics and I found some great Goofy Halloween Cats to use for this Challenge over at the Bugaboo Store. So head on over to the Challenge Blog and see what the Design Team has to share with you today.

I used the Halloween Pumpkin and 3 of the cutie Cats.I used a piece of paper that I made by first spraying on some Goosebumps (irregular pattern) and when that dried I sprayed the paper with several colors of Perfect Pearls Mist. This was so much fun and so quick and easy to do. The images are colored with Copics and a little Glitter Pen and Glossy Effects finishes them off.
 Perfect color of rhinestones.
I hope you all have a great weekend and come back to visit real soon.

I used foil applied with double stick tape for the border and made the flower by spraying a silk flower with Perfect Pearls Mist. The trim over the stripe paper is also sprayed to match.

New To Me Images

Well when I was commenting on entries for one of the Design Teams last week I came across this adorable image from Saturated Canary and I couldn't wait to grab some up. I also found out that they have a Challenge Blog so I just had to share these two cards I have made in the past few days.

How about this little Vampire girl ( I'm sorry I can't give you a direct link today because the Store is closed until tomorrow) I did this for the challenge this week which is a wonderful Sketch Challenge.
I Used papers by Recollections (JoAnns), some Martha Stewart Tinsel Glitter and a few antique buttons.

You don't get the glare in the eye in this shot and you can see the shimmer in the shoe and trim that comes from painting with shimmer paint.
This second card is made using My Minds Eye papers. I cut the flowers using SVG files from La. La. Studios and Tim Holtz Perfect Pearls Mist. I used Copics to color the image and used glitter pens for highlights. So much fun.
The shimmer shows a little better here.
I hope you enjoy these and head over to the Saturated Canary and check them out.
Have a great day.

For my card today I got to work with this great Supernatural Advertisements. It is one in a series that Chris has up in the CS Designs Shop this week. I had so much fun with this. I used a Spirelli die cut from Spellbinders to layer this face onto and then did the string work. It is all so shiney.
Here is a close up for yo. The muddy splat across the image is done using a Digi overlay. So cool!
I also made another Pricilla card this week using these yummy turquoise colors. The papers are Stampin Up'  and that marvolous tinsel glitter is Martha Stewart. I treated myself to a set of 12 bottles the other day.

Anything But A Card at Bugaboo

On Mondays over at Bugaboo it is Anything But a Card Monday so I just wanted to remind you to stop by the Bugaboo Challenge Blog every Monday to be inspired.
So along those lines...Last week I made this cool Haunted House using a SVG File, Elmhurst Hollow, from SVG Cuts and decorated it with Jodie's cute Bugaboo Brats and Goofy Ghosts for the Anything But A Card Challenge.
Well when I was looking through all my Holiday Bugaboo Images I came across this wonderful Haunted House Image and thought Hey! what a great addition to the Neighborhood. So I enlarged the image to a size that matched the previous house and set to work.
Each section of the house is a front and back with a strip of 1&1/2" paper that has each edge turned under 1/4" to put them together. I cut out the windows and added orange mulberry paper and there is an opening in the back of each piece for a light to fit in. Then I glued all the pieces together. The little sucker really glows in the dark.
I added the wonderful goofy ghosts again and then used the Halloween Skelekinz to occupy the scene. the spooky tree needs some owls still and maybe some bats.
The thing about this halloween table is that it is a constant work in progress and so much fun.
For my pumpkin Girlz I use pumpkins  from the pumpkin patch (or grocery store) and decorate them with hats and great big printed eyes and lips and hair and whatever looks good. They last forever it seems.
Check out those eyes. Now she needs a mouth and the little gal next to her needs a whole face.
Most of the not paper decorations come from the dollar store.
This pumpkin needs a whole face and I will be working on that today .
Well I hope you have enjoyed the House tour and I really hope you come back soon to check out what is new. I have a link now on the upper right column that you can sign up to be notified when I make a new post. All ways fun stuff being added.
Hope you all have a great day.
I will be adding this to the following Challenges this week.

I Did It Creations Challenge Blog: Anything Goes
Quirky Crafts: Spooky Something
2 Sisters Challenge Blog: Halloween
