Two More

So today I have two more ppinkydoll images that I made into cards. These darn things are so cute. The first image is colored with Copics and then I cut the frame using a Spellbinders Die and some butterflies that I cut with an SVG file that I have had for a long time.
Glossy Glaze on the eyes and little tiny shoes.
 And then inside.

The next card is done using papers from Bo Bunny that I am so in love with. Again I colored the image with Copics and used a Spellbinders Die for the Frame.
I used Zig glitter brush on the wings and buttterflies and Glossy Glaze on the eyes and heart.
And look how pretty the inside turned out.
I hope you all have a great day and find time to take a look at Chrishanthi's PPINKYDOLL etsy shop and keep your eye open for the new Challenge Blog that will be active soon.

New Release Day At Bugaboo

It is time for another New Release over at Bugaboo and this one is perfect for the time of year. How many of you have had a chance to get out and do some camping or hiking this summer. I so miss our camping trips. It seems it has just gotten to be too much of a hassle or that something else always comes up. It's the pits getting old.
So back to the New Release for today. I colored the image with Copics and used some papers from Bo Bunny that I have had around forever. Just love them.
Oh darn you can't see the glitter pen effect on the lantern. This image reminds me of my brother in law, Mike.
And I could not get a color correct to save my life on this photo. I went back and tried 3 different times. It should be just as bright as the others. It does look good in person.
You should run over to the Bugaboo Challenge Blog and see what the Designers have to share today and then head over to the Bugaboo Store and do some shopping. The 50% Off sale goes on through Thursday so take advantage if you can. I hope you all have a great day and a fun week.

Friday Freebie At Bugaboo

Good Friday morning to you all. Can you believe it is the last week in July already? Soon it will be time for all the kids to head back to school and parents can get back to a routine they can handle. But in the meantime Jodie, over at Bugaboo has a great Free image for you today. This would be great on a scrapbook page that goes along with your kids many summer adventures. How about a decoration on a corner of a picture frame that features your favorite little one in the pool or at the beach.  Head over to the Bugaboo Challenge Blog and see what the Design Team has come up with today and then scoot over to the Bugaboo Store to grab this image for yourself.
For my image today I colored it with Copics and then added some liquid applique to the waves and some glitter mod podge to the sun.
The glossy look on the hearts, floaties and beach ball are done with a new to me product  called Instant UV Resin. It cures in 3 minutes in sunlight. And look at that shine.
The inside of the card is nice and bright too. The papers are Bo Bunny; Lemonade Stand.
I hope everyone has a great weekend. Ours is supposed to be really Hot! Might just have to get in the swimming pool.

Anything But A Card Challenge At Bugaboo

So it is Day 3 of the Christmas In July Fun over at Bugaboo and today is Anything Bug A Card Day to boot. So the Designers all came up with some great gift and packaging ideas for you and we stuck to the color scheme here. You can choose any kind of project that you like, card, tag, gift, just use these colors.
                                             .
So for my project I chose to make this adorable Cocoa Holder. You could put anything in it though. Hot Apple Cider Mix, A Soup packet (do they even make those anymore?)   It could even hold a cookie. Just make the container and add any image you like. I used the Snowman Cocoa image and colored it with my Copics and added some liquid applique on the hat trim and the Cocoa.
The measurements for the pouch are: a rectangle 7.5" X 4" and score at .5",3.5",4"and 7" along the 7.5" side. Score at the 3.5" along the bottom edge. Make small cuts up to the 3.5 score line on each score along long side. Fold all the score lines, glue the .5" end to the 7" side and then fold the bottom pieces and glue together.
These are pretty quick and fun to make and they would be great for a party favor or a teacher gift or if you were really motivated a great gift for all the kids in the class.
So I hope you have fun with the Challenge today and I just wanted to say there have been some great entries in all the challenges so far. Have a good day everyone.

Friday Freebie at Bugaboo

Happy Fourth Of July to everyone. I hope you all have a safe and fun weekend. I plan on watching Walking Dead Marathon and I am so excited that the Tour de France starts tomorrow morning. It is one of my favorite things and has been for a very long time. I'm usually up at the crack of dawn (3 a.m.) in my time zone enjoying the action and the most beautiful landscapes. I know they rebroadcast later in the morning but I am a early riser anyway and I usually get a lot of work done in my studio.
So today is also a Friday Freebie Day over at Bugaboo and we have a cutie for you. So summery.
I colored the image with Copics and the papers are Bo Bunny Lemonade Stand collection.

I used several Stampendous products for the background of the image.
 And inside the card.
So head over to the Bugaboo Store and grab this image for free and also check out the projects of the Design Team at the Bugaboo Challenge Blog.
I also wanted to share this adorable card that I made for my Daughter eairlier in June.  I just love these mice.
I had so much fun coloring this with my Copics.

I also want to remind everyone that next Saturday Bugaboo kicks off our annual Christmas In July Party Week. Lots of inspiration and fun challenges.
