A New Challenge At Dilly Beans

Happy Friday Everyone and Hooray for a New Challenge at Dilly Beans. We had so many great entries for the Challenge last week, I can't wait to see what you all do this week. This one is a little different. How about some Skellies and/or Skulls. Megan just put up some new images a couple of weeks ago and they are perfect for this challenge if you don't have some already.
For my card today I used the Sugar Skull & Flower Framed and you can find that Here.
I rather like the way this turned out. There is a hint of spring in the air these days and that was what I was thinking about when I did this. The papers are some new My Minds Eye that I picked up last weekend and the center piece is made using a new Tim Holtz Texture fade that is cut from a piece of glossy paper that I have treated with alcohol inks. And of course the image is perfect.
I used Glossy Effects and some Liquid Pearls to add a little bling.
I hope you all come and join us this week at Dilly Beans and please run over to the Challenge Blog to see the great projects the Design Team has to share with you today.

clip_image001
For my card today, I started with a card base but it kept growing and turned into a smash page. We are into all kinds of things around Bugaboo and yep we will accept Smash Pages and collages for our Challenges too. As long as it follows the Challenge rules.
I used Jodie's adorable Pig-Present, that she released a couple of weeks ago for my Main Image  on this page. I colored him with Copics and then popped him up with dimensional on a great piece of blue metallic paper. And then I added a couple pieces of patterned paper and I started rummaging around for an embellishment or two and the thing just grew. Hence the SMASH PAGE!
Here is a close up of the adorable image. You can find more in the Bugaboo Store.
I hope you all join us for the Color Challenge this week and have a great weekend.

A Laugh Or Two At Bugaboo

So today's challenge at Bugaboo is to make a Humorous project. That is pretty easy with all the great Humorous Images Jodie has in the store. You don't have to use a Bugaboo Image to play along but we always love it when you do.
For my card today I used Stella Peekers-Darth Vader Image. Papers are from DCWV Coral Couture Stack. I made the flower by taking apart a flower hair barrette and adding a button.
Stella's hair is done using a snow pen and silver Icestickles,.
