Just A Reminder

So I just wanted to remind everyone that the Challenge over at PPINKYDOLLS  goes through next Sunday and we would love to see you all over there. You have a chance to win free images and it is always fun to stop by the Challenge Blog to see all the wonderful projects from the Designers and you can scroll down and click on any of the entries to see the entrants wonderful work.
The Challenge # 3, Anythings Goes or Make It Girly, (your choice) runs through Sunday.
For my card today that fits the theme Make It Girly I used Chrishanthi's image Pinky With Flaffy Kitten.
I used my Copics to color the image and added some Glossy Effects to the eyes and used my clear Zig Wink Brush for some sparkle. I made this with my older sister in mind. She had the most wonderful Cat named Bert that looked just like this when he was a baby. He is gone now but that cat was a great friend to my sister.
Here is a close-up. I have used some papers from an older 6X6 Basic Grey pad.
 And then the inside.
So I hope you all join us for the Challenge over at PPINKYDOLLS and I will  see you back here tomorrow.
I am entering this in the following Challenges.
Glitter and Sparkle: use a flower
Stamping Sensations: Things With Wings
Coffee, Chocolate and Cards: dogs and/or cats
Wags And Whiskers; With Our Furry Friend

Freebie Day At Bugaboo

It is time for another Friday Freebie over at Bugaboo and this one goes along with the Fall theme. So run over to the Bugaboo Store and grab one for yourself.
For my card I colored the image with Copics and used papers from a DCWV Stack. The leaves are from a Christmas Pick that I got at Michaels the other day. Perfect colors. I just love going into Hobby Lobby and Michaels this time of year. There is so much to look at.
And here is a close-up for you.
I hope you all have a great weekend.

New Release Tuesday At Bugaboo

Here it is Tuesday again and Jodie has another fun Edward for us today.  So today we have a Bugaboo You can find this image and a whole lot more in the Bugaboo Store Here.
I decided to have a go at using Crayolas for coloring the image today. It is hard to get the shading right because it is hard to layer the waxy crayons. I used Goo Gone to blend the colors so the lines disappeared.
The papers are from a stack I picked up at Hobby Lobby
And here is a close up for you.
 And then the inside .
I hope you head over to the Bugaboo Challenge Blog and check out all the great projects the Design team has to share with you today. Have a great week everyone.

New Release Tuesday At Bugaboo

Well today is Tuesday so that means it is New Release Day At Bugaboo. I know it seems a little early but if you have been shopping lately you will see that Halloween is on the shelves. From candy to costumes it is all out there. So to get in the swing of things Jodie has this great image for you today. Might as well get a head start. Since this is a black and white image with little coloring to do it is the perfect place to show off some fun color techniques. I did min by using spray mists and then I colored over the black with a gel pen. Lots of shine.
A few rhinestones and a little ribbon and it is good to go.
 And inside....
Hope you all have a great week and I hope you come back Friday to see the Freebie that Jodie has for you.

So Much Fun At Kit And Clowder

So this weekend Kit & Clowder Facebook Group has been having a little ( Huge) party to celebrate reaching 4000 members. There are a lot more now. There have been Challenges, and Freebies and Discounts from all sorts of Companies and I am having a very hard time keeping up. My internet and computer have also been giving me fits all weekend. I'm surprised I'm here now.
One of the Freebies is this adorable Image from Sugar Nellie. You can find all the details on how to get your hands on one HERE!
So I colored the image up with my Copics and used some papers from Echo Park to make this adorable Birthday Card.

Here is a little close up. You can see the Frantage going on on the heart shape. I have a lot of fun with layers of embossing chips and powders and Heat & Stick Powder along with the glitter and Mica Chips. I need to do more with this.
And the inside is ready to send that favorite someone a greeting.
Now that took almost an hour because of the computer freezing up and being a pain in the a.... so I will say Bye Bye for now and come back in a bit to share some samples that I have been working on for my Coloring Class I'm taking from Kit And Clowder.

It is Friday again and that means Jodie over at Bugaboo has a Freebie for you. So head over to the Bugaboo Store and grab one and don't forget to swing by the Bugaboo Challenge Blog and check out the great work by the Design Team.
The image today would be a perfect Halloween Card Image I think. That is what I did with it. the papers are some older ones that I have in my stash. I colored the image with Copics.
I really laid on a lot of color on the monster and I made two images so I could cut the eye and hand out and pop them up a little. The eyes all over the page have Glossy Effects on them.
And then the inside of the card needs to be fun too.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

New Release Day At Bugaboo

What can you get for a Dollar these days? Well how about this adorable image by Jodie over at Bugaboo Digi Store. Yes. Today I have a great card to share that could be used for just about any occasion and if you head over to the Bugaboo Challenge Blog the Design Team has a ton of examples to share so you can see how versatile it is.
So for my card I colored the image with Copics markers and then used Distress Ink around the outer edge and then used really diluted Distress ink to pain in the background. when that was all dry I just left little drops of water all over the background.
I also added some rub-ons that I have had around forever and a little sentiment and voie la.

And then on the inside I just added a few strips of paper to dress it up. It really adds a lot.

I hope you all have a great day and don't forget to check out all the Dollar Stamps in the Bugaboo Store.

New Release Tuesday At Bugaboo

A Happy 2nd day of September to you all. September...no way. My granddaughters start back to school today and I will be at their house at 6:15 because the oldest has to be at school at 7 am. Teenagers don't work that way. At least all I have to do is make sure the 10 year old gets dressed, eats and get her to school by 8:30. I'm gonna die. I have to be up and driving to their house by 5:45. Uggg.
But in the meantime over at Bugaboo it is New Release Tuesday and Jodie has this great image for you.  It is perfect for just about any occasion.
For my card today I used papers by Kaisercraft and colored the image with Copics. I made two copies of the image so I could cut the little sunflowers out and pop them up to have a little 3D going on.

And heres a close up for yo

 And inside....

I hope everyone that is sending little and big ones off to the first day of school tomorrow has a wonderful day.
