A few More Cards and an Ornament

How cute is this image by Mo Manning.
The paper I used here is Daisy D's and I colored this with my Copics markers. I like these things more and more all the time. This was the freebie Mo gave us when the group reached 400 over at Paper Craft Planet. I haven't made the 500 freebie into a card yet and we are fast approaching 600. Go take a look and join one of the groups at PCP or SNR You won't be sorry. Okay I'm starting to get a little obsessive with the combining image thing. I can't help myself. The images areso darn cute it just 3 times cute this way. Basic Grey Paper and Mo images.

I thought this was a perfect combo. Cinderella sweeping up after Louis and his cookie crumbs.

This was for last weeks Challenge at Mo's (Bella & Bronte's) Challenge Blog. We were to do something that was not a card. I did this ornament and it was supper easy and fast. I have more to make and I also have a tutorial that I will post this weekend.

I was awake at 3:30 am today and when I checked in at Mo's these images were waiting. I bought them real quick like and got busy coloring and had this card finished soon after I got home from picking up my granddaughter. This is every mothers nightmare.

Okay I do use images that are from other wonderful people like this one by Shirleys2Girls. How cute is this mouse? I used the Twinklets that I bought yesterday and boy are they shiney.

You can get a little bit better idea of how these look in this shot.

Have a fun weekend.

My Daughter Came For A Visit And.........

This is my grandson, Logan. He is two now and such a boy. Isn't he cute? I took this photo right before he said "Stay Away" That was his mantra for Nana all week. I hope he grows out of that.
My daughter and grandson flew in on Tues. morning and my son-in-law came in on Thurs. for her sisters wedding on Sat. Sam was one of the Bridesmaids and her dress was this beautiful strapless cocktail length dress. So on Thursday Morning while chaseing down my grandson , she fell. And she dislocated her shoulder. Can you believe it? Isn't she cute? In her immobilizer? She went to the wedding, took a vicodin and walked down the isle without the immobilizer and had a wonderful time. I'm sorry to see her go back home. Alabama is a long way away.
The kids left on Monday and I woke up that morning with head ache, body ache, sore throat, coughing and a low grade fever. Darn. It has been 5 days and I do feel better today but I dislike not feeling well..

I have managed to get some cards done in the last two weeks and a couple of DT Call projects. I'll post those later. Verve Stamps is having a release Party tonight starting at 9 eastern so go check it out. These are the 5 cards I made for the Challenge Sketches.
Card A Basic Grey Paper, Tim Holtz Stamps. I just love these easel cards.

Opened Up

Card B Websters Paper, Tim Holtz sentiment. This is a Stampin'Up embossing folder that I used with velvet paper and then highlighted with glitter pen.

Card C Little Yellow Bicycle Paper, Inkadinkado Stamp. I love this resist technique with these stamps. Stamp image, emboss with clear and then use sponge to add color. The Card A above is another type of risist technique. The smooch and lift technique.

Card D American Craft paper, Mo's Digital Pencil Image. This image and paper were meant for each other.

Card E Basic Grey Paper and Verve Digital Image This is a free image that was available through today. I would love to see Julie get into some more Digital Images. I just love the instant gratification.

So those were for the Verve Release tonight and I can't wait to see the new sets that are comeing out.
This next card is another freebie from Whimsy Doodles. This is Hope. For Breast Cancer Awareness Month. You need to see all the different cards that people have submitted over on the Paper Craft Planet Group. I used Basic Grey Paper and colored this with my Copics pens. I bought some more new ones at the Scrapbook Convention last week. I love these things.

This is another great Image from Bee Crafty, another Digital Image Shop. I just love these images and you will be seeing more from me. The paper here is Basic Grey and the images are 3 seperate ones that I brought together in photoshop.

This is a card that I did for the new Mo's Challenge Blog. The challenge was to use Fall Colors. Bo Bunny papers.

More Bo Bunny papers and another Mo Image. This tree was made from a bunch of leaves punched out and layered up.

Okay, Okay, I love Mo. And Basic Grey. I combined two images again for this one and colored them up with Copics and Colored Pencils.

And how cool is this 3-D card? Cosmo Cricket Paper and a Mo Image.

I hope you enjoyed all the cards this week. Layouts are for next week. I hope.
Have a great week everyone.

A Really Quick Post

I made this card using My Grafico Images. I used the bird from the Birdie Digital Stamp and one of the Butterflies from another of their sets. I edited them in photoshop and then I used the outside the die technique when I cut it out with my Nesties. So this is a Pile It On Challenge Card. So here are the different challenges that I combined for this.
Pile It On: Aly's Sketch
My Grafico: Challenge #20 use a tag and buttons
Stampin For The Weekend: Orange, Brown and Leafy Green
Cupcake Craft Challenge: Week 61 Stitching & Buttons
Stamp Something Blog: Use Brown, Mainly Brown
Flutterby Wednesday: open but you must use a butterfly or fairy
Crazy 4 Challenges: Truly Thankful Week 6
I really had a ton of fun working on this one. Thanks to all the great Challenges. And then I bought some masks from My Grifico the other night and a couple of overlays so I did a little experimenting. I used a piece of digital paper for the background and then did the other stuff. I hope I can remember what steps I took when I go to do this again. I know what I will do for a layout for this. Hopefully tomorrow.

Have a great week everyone.

It's About Halloween And Perple

The Cuttlebug Challenge Blog Inspiration Wednesday #52 is to make a card that is Halloween or Fall Inspired. How about this? the papers are Basic Grey and the Image is from my fave Digital Image Designer Mo. from Mo's Digital Pencil. I used the Cuttlebug folder Swirls to emboss the background glitter paper and the Circle folder for the orange strip of paper. I covered the moon with Distress Stickles and added a few rhinestones and a couple of ribbons to finish this off. The layout is from My favorite Mojo Monday Blog. Julie always has the best Sketches. This is Sketch # 107. This card is for the VERY FIRST challenge over at Mo's Challenge Blog. Bella and Bronte's favorite color is Perple so the challenge is to use purple on your card. Run don't walk on over to the new Challenge Blog and check out all the new Design Team Members samples and pick up a Mo Image and join us. There is a way to get a free image to use if you don't have any yet but I'm pretty sure that if you see all the great images you too will become a fan.

Om Tues evenings every other week I have a technique class at my house. There are 4 ladies that show up never fail and this week I decided that we should decorate pumpkins. Paper mache pumpkins. This is Kathleen and Barbara working away. I put out Vogue and Vanity Fair magazines to find eyes and lips, Pattern paper, feather boa rhinestones, yarn and pipe cleaners for hair and other bits and pieces to create these girls. Kathleen's punkin, she made the eyelashes from boa feathers, and gave her spider earings.

Diana's girl, My what long eyelashes she has.

Barbara's girl and I just love the eyebrows and this is a great hairdo.

And this is mine (Kate Winslet eyes and lips) These are so much fun to make. You should give it a try.

Have a Great weekend everyone!

Cuttlebug Challenge #51

This is the last in the series of challenges I have been playing along with this last month over at the Cuttlebug Challenge Blog This week (Challenge #51) was to make a Thank You card for the party that has been the subject of all the challenges all month long to celebrate the blogs 1st Birthday. I just love this little guy munching on a cupcake after everyone has gone home. A Mo's Digital Pencil Image. I used a Cuttlebug embossing strip for the edges of the card and then Basic grey paper. The bow is made from pull ribbon and it is so nice and easy to use. This is the inside of the card, and I love the Cuttlebug embossing folder I used on the background paper. And Thank You to Cuttlebug Challenge Blog for hosting a great Birthday Challenge all month long. Happy Birthday to you and it will be fun to follow along for the next year.

I made this yesterday and used My Minds Eye papers from last season. I stamped the snowflakes and embossed with clear and then sponged on blue green and brown ink. I do lve this technique. Added some rhinestones and some little glitter flakes. I saw this quote yesterday morning and knew the perfect image for it. This is another of Mo's Digital Pencil
I used my new Copics pens to color most of this, Woo Hoo I just love those things and can't wait to get more.
And the inside... see, perfect.

When we were all young my parents took us on camping trips all the time. I loved it. I still love it. Well I haven't been in a few years but I would love it. I used digital papers and elements for this layout. I just printed the Marks Paper Co. Digital Kit elements and papers onto cotten linen paper that I got from an office supply store. I used Stickles and rhinestones and ribbons to pull it all together. I used a cuttlebug die to cut the paper flowers and then piled them up and added a rhinestone. For the large flower I colored recycled silk flowers with a glitter pen.

I love buttons. I have a bunch and I am always on the look out for more. I piled up 3 for each and glued them to a piece of PP. Doesn't my big sis Martha look cool in her capries and white blouse? We Thoms know how to camp. I used eyelash ribbon, velvet rick rack, and some paper ribbon.

I used some really cool rhinestones that I picked up at the Dollar store, This is also a good shot of the Flourish that I cut using the Sizzix die that I bought last week. I embossed the back side of the flower to give it a little more dimension.

Have a great week everyone.
