New Release Day At Bugaboo

How cute is this pair of shoes? Today over at Bugaboo Jodie has a bunch of new shoes for you. I could never walk in these things but I could just put one on and look at it. Oh if I were only 30 years younger ( or at least my knees) I could be a shoe Ho again.  So anyway you really should run over to Bugaboo and check out the projects that the Design team came up with for you today. Then run over to the Bugaboo Store and grab some of these shoes for yourself. There is still time to take advantage of the November Sale.
For this card today I went into my Black and White stash and also did some embossing with some of my Christmas Sizzix embossing folders. It is hard to tell in this folder but I used Black flocking on the black part of the shoe and then Crystal Effects on the red heels and berries. I love how this turned out. Hope you like it too.

Have a great day.

Black Friday on Saturday?

The Challenge this week at Bugaboo is to make a card or project that is all about shopping. I was not going to go out yesterday , I was determined not to go out, I was going to spend my day in my Jammies.   Ha Ha Ha on me once again. I have very little self control when it comes to a sale, what was I thinking? But I only went to 3 stores. Does that count? And I waited until 8 o'clock.
So yes I was one of those Crazy Psycho shoppers. How about you all?
I hope you run over to the Challenge Blog and see what the Design Team has to share with you today. Talk about some fun creations. And don't forget to head over to the SHOP and grab up some images. There are only 4 days left for the 50% off SALE for November.
Do come and join us this week for ou Challenge and you may win some free Images. The usual 7,4,2. You can head over to the Challenge Blog for all the details.
Have a great weekend everyone.

But first I have to show you this wonderful new image that Jodie from Bugaboo has given all os us for the Friday Freebie this week. Isn't he too cute. You really should run over to the Challenge Blog and see what all the Designers did with this image today and then get on over to the Shop and grab one for yourself. All of these little guys will be in my folder later you can bet.
For my card today I found this template that I had made from last year and thought I have to do some more of these. Maybe I should try and make a pattern to share. I'll think about that. After I go Shopping.
This is the inside of the card. I really like this card design.

And here is a real quick look at my studio Christmas Tree Forest. I'll have more to share later.

Christmas Project Challenge

Good Saturday Morning Everyone. It is a rainy day here in "Sunny California" and a perfect day to stay in and get some crafting done.
Like working on a project" A Christmas Craft Project" the theme for todays Challenge over at BUGABOO. Since it is getting closer and closer to Christmas we thought it would be fun for everyone to share a project( ATC, Gift Card, Stationary, Gift Bag, Ornament.) All the usual rules apply and as always you could win Bugaboo Images. Head on over to the Challenge Blog for all the Details. And Check Out all the great projects that the Design Team has to share today.
For todays challenge I used one of Bugaboos Poppie Penguin series images and this adorable Robin from the Bugaboo November Digi Club. I used purchased glittery snowflakes ( I got mine at Target I think but they have them at craft stores and Wallmart and Dollar Store. Then I used One of the new Tim Holtz Dies for the accordian fold flower in the center and for the images I colored them with my Copics, added some double stick adhesive sheet by Be Creative Tape and added some of that lovely superfine Crystal's Glitter Ritz. Love that stuff. I went back in on some of the colors with my Copics and Gel Pens. How fun and easy are these.

Good Friday Morning

Yea It is Friday. That means the weekend is almost here. It also means Friday Freebie at Bugaboo and look at what Jodie has for you today.
My nephew turns 10 this week and this will be the best card for him. I'm pretty sure he likes Pirates. I sure like this one. You can get your own copy at the Bugaboo Store and while you are there don't forget to check out the other images that go along with this. And don't forget the BIG SALE going on right now at Bugaboo. 50% off. Woo Hoo.
And don't forget to stop by the Bugaboo Blog to see the cards the Designers made using this Image.
When I was putting this card together I was having a hard time deciding what colors to use and since all my Christmas stuff is hanging around my desk I pulled out this Basic Grey Christmas paper. It seems perfect for this. The paper under the pirate is a piece of hologram paper cut from a gift bag I picked up at the Dollar Store. Always keep your eyes open for things to use on you projects, you never know when the perfect thing will smack you in the face.
Have a great day. And don't forget to come back tomorrow to see what I have to share for the Bugaboo Challenge this week. They are pretty darn clever if I do say so myself.

Speaking of Bugaboo, today is New release Tuesday and look at this cutie JJ with her ornament. Cute hu? I got a little creative and added an ornament cut from designer paper (DCWV winter wonder stack) and then covered in superfine glitter from Crystal Glitter Ritz, that I got at the Scrapbook Expo last week. This stuff is just beautiful. You cut a piece of souble sided adhesive to fit the image then pour on the glitter. This transparente is so cool, and you can color on it with gel pens and Copics and....I don't know what all. Ive just tried those two. The ornament on the left was cut with my new Spellbinders Holly Ornament Die Cut that I found at the Heartfelt Creations booth. They have stamps that go with the dies.

New Release Tuesday

Today is new release Day at Bugaboo. Woo Hoo!
Man I love these guys. And that kid with the red hair reminds me so much of my nephew. Before Jodie started making these images I had never even seen a Harry Potter movie. Now I've watched three and I can't wait for the new one. Go figure. I'm not sure about the colors I used on these (if they are true to the character) but I sure like the way these look. I put together three different images for this card and I used papers from My Memory Box.
Run on over to the Bugaboo Challenge Blog and check out the projects by the Design Team and then run to the Store and pick up some for yourself. Sale is going on all month long so this is the time to stock up.
Have a Great Day.

Anything But A Card Monday

Good Monday Morning. Today is Anything But A Card Day over at Bugaboo and this week it is my turn to share a project with you. This is a timely trio for we are now into the countdown for Christmas List Days. And this project you can dress up with one of these wonderful Page Markers.
I used Bugaboo's Rudolf Images to decorate these books and the Idea came from a tutorial by Becky Roberts over at Inking Idaho. I love all her great ideas. So go check out her stuff. These wonderful page markers are made with Ribbon and some buttons and snowflakes and then a Rudolf on top.
Oh yes and a shopping list pad that I picked up at Dollar store.

For this one I tied two pieces of satin ribbon to the elastic hair band and then on the other end I stitched on a combo of a snowflake and a button.

I stitched a piece of ribbon onto the elastic hair band on this one and then layered the buttons on the other end. Measure the ribbon to fit snugly around your book cover and then just close it by putting the button into the elastic hair band. How easy is that?

I decorated the front of the notepads with paper from DCWV and the Rudolf image is colored with my Copics and then I used micro fine glitter that I picked up at the Scrapbook expo and then used Ice Stickles to cover the white around Rudolf. The Circle was cut with one of the new Nesties that I bought on Friday.

So here are the Three Notebook/To Do List covers that I did, now lets see what you can do? Drop me a comment or leave one over at Bugaboo if you make one of these so we can all see. Please.

I am entering this into the following challenges:
The Creative Cottage # 26: embossing ( I used both wet and dry.)
Top Tip Tuesday: Christmas
Pile It On#44: Furry Christmas
Have a great day and I hope you all come by tomorrow.

Now run on over to the Challenge Blog and check out all the great samples the Design Team has made up for you. You can find all the details for the Challenge there too.
I used papers from the Cloud 9 paper stack for this and our wonderful Poppi Penquin to make this easel card.
And because the paper was out and the new images from Novembers Digi Club Set was just sitting there I made a second easel card. I could hav kept going but I'm sure I needed to do something.....like sleep. I used colored pencils to color this with. I haven't used them for a long time because I have gone completely GaGa over Copics. I do really like the colored pencils.

Have a wonderful weekend

Bugaboo Is Having a DT Call !!!
We are looking for a few new Design Team Members who love Bugaboo as much as we do!
Please help spread the word!

How Long Is the DT Call Open?
We are going to try something a little different this round. There are two rounds to our call.
1. Create a post and link it below. Post must include 1 Bugaboo project and 2 other of your favorite projects. Please note these can be new or older projects it is your choice. This phase of the call will be open until November 10th midnight EST. We will contact those who have been chosen to move on to round 2. Please make sure we have your email.
2 If you are chosen to continue to round 2, we will send you a predetermined image which you will make a project and turn back into us it would make things much quicker and give you more time to create if you make sure your email is in your post of the first round.
What Kind of Responsibilities Does the DT Have? As a DT Member you would be required to take part in a minimum of 4 projects and a maximum of 6 assignments throughout the month. You will know all of the upcoming challenges and assignments and most can be worked on ahead of time. Is It OK If I'm on Another DT? Not to worry, as long as you can commit to the Bugaboo DT and are not conflicted with other DT work then of course feel free to apply, but please consider the new workload before you apply, the last thing we want is for you to struggle to keep up with the assignments, this is meant to be fun and stress free, not a job that you feel obliged to do, so again please do keep that in mind What If I've Never Been on a DT Before? Not a problem at all, we welcome all applications whether you have DT experience or not, in fact we would encourage peeps with no previous DT experience to try out for our Design Team, more so over those that do, we want to give everyone a fair chance When Will the New DT Be Announced? The new DT Members will be announced by November 29th. New Term officially begins on January 1, 2011.
Have a great day everyone.
