Just a Friendly Little Challenge.....

I was checking in at Paper Craft Planet Bugaboo Group a bit ago and Our fearless DT Coordinater Tammy challenged all of us DT members to find a challenge to enter using one of our Bugaboo Images. Not a problem. One of the DT members made a card using one of Jodies Skelekinz images for the hop last night and when I saw it I had to run and buy a few of these images for myself. Well Here is the card I just made. I will be entering it in several Challenges that I found when I went to the blog Both Sides Of The Paper. She has lists of current challenges.
The first is a Sketch Challenge for Taylored Expressions #98.
Jacksonbelle Embelishments, Tuesday Challenge 88 Use Bling
Creative Belli Blog Challenge #88, Use two types of bling. I got rhinestones and gliter and Stickles.
Creative Card Crew Challenge 42; Distressing
and last but not least,
Creative Inspirations Challenge #24; Distressing
So there are 5 challenges. Woo Hoo for me.
Here is a close up of the coloring and the bling. Too cute hu?

Have a Fun weekend.

Bugaboo Blog Hop

Good evening everyone. Welcome to my blog and if you are comeing here from Sandyes blog you are in the right spot. This should be your last DT stop but don't forget to go back to Bugaboos Blog to check in and let us all know what you thought of the hop.
I am so proud to be on this design Team. On New Years Eve I found Jodies Images and fell in love with them. I am thrilled that I have this chance to be a part of this team. It will be fun to watch Bugaboo grow. I hope you all have enjoyed the hop tonight. Here are a few things that I made to show off Bugaboo Stamps.
I feel the same way about housework as JJ does. I don't have the red heels, maybe I should get some. There are 7 JJ images in all so far and they are all too cute. This is My Minds Eye Paper and I used Copics to color the image. Faux stitching. This is a stand up card that I made using the cute Cupie Image from the store. there are 7 different images in this series and everyone is adorable.

I used My Minds Eye Paper, colored the image with copics and used ice Stickles on the Bubbles.

So here is the blog Candy that I have for one lucky person that leaves a comment here on my blog this weekend. The Hop goes through Monday night at 8:00p.m. eastern, so jump in there. I made these adorable buttons in 3 different images and 3 different sizes and you can use them on Cards or layouts or the med size ones could even be used as a coat pin or barrette. Jodi has a 7 different Block designs in the store. These are so cute.

Hand embrodiered felt and Copic colored images in three different sizes. 4 ea. of 3 designs small, 2 ea. of 3 designs medium, 1 ea. of 3 designs large.

I hope you have had a great hop and that you will come back often to visit both here and at Bugaboo Stamps. We are small still but as you can see we won't stay that way for long. These images are so much fun. So go tell all your friends and go back to the beginning and leave a final comment to be entered into the grand prize drawing.

Have a great weekend everyone and I hope you enjoyed the hop.

It Is Time For A New Challenge

It is time for a nother challenge over at Sketches By Tamara. This week is a Recipie Challenge. Here is my take on the challenge. I'm on the Design Team. Woo Hoo, I still love saying that. Anyway the recipie is to use Rub-Ons, Flowers and Bling. I was in heaven when I saw that.
This is a photo of KayLynn (my grand daughter) that I took on Christmas. Her hair isn't really that red it is golden blond but the light in the room made it turn out like this. Isn't that beautiful? The sketch is one from Tamara from last year and you can find all the sketches on her blog on the sidebar. So you are never without a great sketch. The papers I used here are Basic Grey, Origins.
I used Rub-Ons at the corners of the layout as well as on the photo itself. These are BG that go with the paper. This is a journaling tag that hides behind the photo. How cool is that? Again you can buy these too. The flower is a Hero Arts Stamp stamped on acrylic and then colored with Tim Holtz Alcohol inks. And that wonderful piece across the top is a die cut by Sizzix and then I put a piece of packing tape behind it, trimmed it and sprinkled with MS glitter. I did the same on the upper corner of the photograph.
More Hero Arts Flowers stamped on DP and cut out. The mirrors are wrapped with eyelash ribbon.
Here is a close up of the elements.

Have a great day everyone. I intend to.

A Busy Weekend

I spent the weekend cleaning and organizing my studio. Well I still have a lot more to go and a bigger mess than when I started. I did get a few cards finished and I started a layout. A lot of the weekend was spent in and out of the forums at Paper Craft Planet. At Bugaboo Stamps there was an impromptu Challenge and it was our first week together as a Design Team so it was a lot of fun and I had a chance to get to meet other members of the team and see old friends as well as new . I am so excited about these Stamps.
I made a card for the Inspirational Card Sketches this week. This sketch is fantastic. And check out this adorable image by the Digi Stamp Boutique. This is one of the images from the New release this month. There are 5 of these little cuties. Go check them out soon there is a sale going on right now.
This is for the challenge this week over at Digital Tuesday Challenge. We were supposed to make a Valentine for a loved one. I will give this to George this year. After 27 years of marriage we don't do things like give Valentines. WE should change that. I did this adorable card using an image from Shirleys2Girls and papers from the dollar bins at Target and I colored the elephants with Copics and then I put a coat of Rock Candy Crackle Paint on them for that wonderful elephant hide effect. The hearts are filled in with Stickles in different colors.

Close up of the skin. So Cool!

I bought this image from the Stamping Botique Sat. morning and this was the first thing I worked on. I just happened to have the perfect paper sitting on my desk. My Minds Eye. And how cute is that wonderful flower paperclip? The buttons I picked up Sat. Morning while doing my grocery shopping at WallMart. I just had to take this photo of my desk when I was finished with my card. This happens with every project. Then I clean off my desk and start all over again.

This was the Friday Freebie this week at Bugaboo Stamps. We ended up having an impromptu Challenge also and I think it was a great success. You should also check out our group at Paper Craft Planet. It is a great group of gals and we are just getting started but I think you all would like it if your not already a member. I used a lot of shiney stuff on this card. I used Crystal Effects on the tulip and tulip hat. Stickles on the stem and and rabbit and dots on wings. Liquid Pearl on the wings.

I will be back in the morning with my sample for this weeks Challenge by Tamara.

More Bugaboo, a Challenge and a Layout

These first 3 cards I made use the New Bugaboo Stamps. This first one is also for the Challenge #27 over at Tuesday Morning Sketches this week. I just love these blocks. There are other animals too so go check them out. Too cute. I used Basic Grey paper for this. I printed three images of the large button and colored the different layers and then cut them apart and used Crystal Effects on the frame (bottom layer) the dogs head is done with Copics Markers (middle layer) Crystal Effects on the Bubbles, tounge and nose (third layer). After the Crystal Effects dried overnight I layered them all together using pop-ups. I did the same with the smaller images only just using two layers each.
Another Block Card using paper by S.E.I. The flower is made using Nestabilities Blossom Two. After you cut out 3 smallest sizes, clip in towards the center of each and then dry emboss on the back side of each petal and put together with pop-ups and add a rhinestone to the center.

And then we have our wonderful Gus and Stella Image. These are so much fun. Can't wait to make more. Look for Bugaboo Catch The Bug group over at Paper Craft Planet.
.

This is a layout I just did of Miss Claudette. I love this photo, she is growing up so much. Waaa. I used paper from S.E.I. ( found it at Michaels). I got into punching holes and a few squares to compliment the papers. The papers had glitter areas on it

and I added some Stickles here and there.

And then there is always rhinestones, lace, ribbon and Crystal Effects.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Really Exciting News

First EXCITING NEWS of the day is that Tamara of SKETCHES BY TAMARA is back and today is the 101 sketch to mark her return. I have so missed having her Sketches every week because I love them and I am so proud to be a Member of the Design Team. Woo Hoo! How Lucky am I? This is the layout that I did for the sketch this week. This is my lovely granddaughter Claudette. Come back tomorrow and you can see a photo of her from this Christmas. I can't believe how fast these kids grow up. The paper I used here is by Crate Paper. I just love this stuff. This layout is kind of reserved for me don't you think? I wanted to show off the sketch here and I have to tell you I do like this. Hope you do to.

This is the other EXCITING NEWS I have to share with you. Last friday I received a notice of a new Digital Stamp Store opening. BUGABOO STAMPS! I checked out Jodies site/store and could not believe how much fun these images are. You have got to check this out. Anyway one thing lead to another and I'm so pleased to announce that I am on the New Design Team. Yea! This on top of being on Tamara's Team, I'm in Seventh Heaven. I look forward to all the new things that will be comeing up and I will do the best job I can.

Okay I will have more info about Bugaboo comeing up. Right now I can tell you that the BLOG address is HERE and the STORE is HERE. Add this site to your list of Digi Stamp Sites please. Here is a card I made this weekend wit A Freebie that you can find at Bugaboo right now. Is this Monkey cute or what? I used papers from dollar bins and I used my Copics to color this.

This is a second card I have made using a Bugaboo image. I just love all her different characters. The paper here is from a pad I picked up by S.E.I. (Michaels)
Here is a card I made using Mo's Image and some felt buttons that I have made.
I have made a few of these buttons in different shades of pink and red and purple. I need to get a store. These would also be fun as a barette or pin for a jacket. For the re polka dot felt I just stamped the felt with white acrylic. There are so many possibilities. I picked up a bag of heart shaped buttons at WallMart. I colored the image of Bella & Bronte with Copics. I so enjoy my Copics. I just love the Easel Card. Is this cute or what? This is an Image by The Stamping Boutique
I joined in the party at Copics Buzz on Sunday and this is one of the cards I made for that. I used papers and embellies that I have picked up in the Dollar Bins at Target, Michaels and The Dollar Store. I used just about every kind of heart that I could find. The two larger red ones below are from those jellie type things that you get at the Dollar Store that you can stick to your windows.

Have a great day everyone.
