A Sketches Challenge and New Release at Bugaboo

Sketches By Tamara has a new Challenge #105 up this morning. Woo Hoo! I'm so glad I'm on this Deasign Team. I really like the sketches and if you want more you can always find them on the blog. There is a list in the sidebar. Anyway, here is the Sketch for todays layout. And if you use the sketch please leave us a link in the comments below. We love to see all your designs. I used the Bo Bunny Line, Love Bandit, for this layout. Here are two of my fave models again, Claudette and KayLynn. The flowers are done using the Spellbinders Spirellabilities dies. If you havent tried this technique yet give it a whirl. You can use other dies or punches to accomplish this too. Just have fun and layer them up. I had found these frames at Michaels in the dollar bin. So much fun. I painted a coat of Picket Fence crackle Paint on them first. The stamp on the lower right is a dollar stamp from Michaels too.

I so enjoy cutting out embellies from all the pattern papers and then using pop-ups to attach them. The strip down the left is punched with a Martha Stewart Punch.

And heres a very close up so you can see the detail on the flowers. Maybe I should do a tutorial on this.

Speaking of Tutorials over at Bugaboo Challenge Blog every Wednesday one of the design Team members will be shareing a tutorial with you so don't forget to come and check it out. Tomorrow is Yvonnes and next week will be mine.

Today is a Release Tuesday over at Bugaboo so be sure to head on over to the Blog and check out all the great samples that all the Design Team made for your inspiration and then run over to the Bugaboo Store and pick some up for yourself.

I had a Toadally pink moment for a couple of days. Isn't this little girlie cute. I can't wait to get my hands on the rest of these images. I made this treat box out of pink cardstock and the pattern Parper which I think is DCWV ( I bought it last year) and then I printed the image onto two different DP's and on a piece of white. I then cut the image out in layers and colored the flowers and added some Tulip leaves (from Christmas picks) The cutting took the longest but that wasn't really that bad.

You can see the effects of the pop-up dots a little better here. I reinforced the top corners with a piece of designer paper and the bottom edge with some embossed cardstock strips.

These are two cards I did for fun this week since I had all the pink sitting all around my table I decided to do a Pink Ribbon Stella. I just love this image and there are 6 other Girls in the Store sporting their own Pink Ribbons and sayings.

And I did this one of the adorable Skelekinz baby. I'm so lucky to have a ton of neices and a few nephews that I can send Valentine Day cards since besides Christmas is my favorite card making holiday.

Have a Great Day everyone. Pearl has to go get her shots updated this morning and the kids are comeing over for dinner tonight and I'm making a to die for Chicken Noodle Casserol. Yummmmmmmmm
