I am amazed that Easter is tomorrow. It just snuck up on all of us around here so fast. Our family usually has a big get together with a potluck early dinner, lots of kids in their Easter clothes and pretty baskets. This year.....Nothing! No one has time. But I did have time to make some fun Easter Projects and the card for this weeks Challenge over at Dilly Beans Designer and Challenge Blog is one.
I used the image # 403-Amalia & Laylah and colored it up with Copics. The papers I used are Colorbok and the piece right behind the image is done with Dylusions spray that I sprayed on my work mat and then placed the piece of paper face down in it. So quick and easy and fun.
A little close up.

I hope you all have a great week.

Friday Freebie At Bugaboo
It is time for another Freebie over at Bugaboo. You can pick yours up in the Bugaboo Store. The Bugaboo Design Team also has some great samples for you over on the Bugaboo Challenge Blog that you don't want to miss.
Now for my card today I colored the spaceman and Saturn with Copics and Glitter Pens and added silver Stickles to the stars. The papers are by Authentique.
I gently sponged on Distress Ink all over the background of the image.
The glitter on the papers I used on the inside were really hard to photograph with all the white around them. Big glare every time.
I hope you all have a great weekend.

Oldie But Goodies At Bugaboo
So on Thursdays Bugaboo Challenge Blog does an Oldie But Goodie Day and it is a perfect time for you all to get inspiration to use some of those images that are just collecting dust in your files.
So I chose the Butterfly Image to play with.
I printed the image on white cardstock and then used the smoosh and lift technique for the background. I also printed an extra set of wings to color and pop up.
I used Liquid Pearls and Glitter Pen on the leaf shapes of the flourish and the body of the butterfly. The wings are covered with a coat of Ranger's Clear Crackle Paint.
Inside of the card.
I hope you all have a great Thursday and I will be back tomorrow for the Friday Freebie from Bugaboo.

A Sketch Layout for ScrapFriends
The other day I came upon the Scrap Friends Challenge Blog. I was so inspired by the Sketch they had up for March and the Work by their incredible Design Team I just had to grab some new photos I received recently of my grandsons and play along.
I haven't taken the time to sit down and put together a layout in a very long time and I was so happy with the way this turned out. The papers I used are from a new pad of paper I picked up atWallMart by Colorbok. this is double sided paper and has beautiful bright colors and all the newest trendy patterns.
These guys live in Texas now and I haven't see them since Holden was born. That is so sad. I need to take a trip.
A close up of the upper half. I used acrylics to splatter on the background piece before I started.
My little guy Holden playing in the dirt. my daughter says that you can give him a spoon and bowl and some dirt and he will be happy for a very long time. Typical boy.
And this is my grandson Logan going Dirt Fishing. They need to get the kid a wading pool to fish in. Actually He is a pretty good fisherman for a 5 year old. His Auntie V and his dad taught him.
So I am entering this in the Sketch Challenge at Scrap Friends this month and I hope you head over there and check them out. Beautiful work.

Dilly Beans Glitter Challenge
I just love everything shiny and the challenge over at Dilly Beans is to add some Glitter to your project. A Little , or a Lot. If you head over to the Dilly Beans Designer And Challenge Blog you will find some great projects by the Designers.
For my project this week I used this Adorable Image by Megan (#392 Amalia, Eastr Bunny) and added some fun bright papers to create a fantastic Easter card. Can you believe that Easter is just around the corner? The image is colored with Copics and the flower is cut using a Samantha Walker cut file from Heidi Grace papers and the background is a piece of canvas, colored with Distress Stains and shimmer sprays. The little piece of paper at the bottom is Colorbok (WallMart) Love the glitter ribbon and Peacock Blue feather at the end of the ribbon.
A Close Up for you. I wish the glitter showed up better. The white suit and headband are covered.
And inside the card.
I hope you all have a fantastic weekend and a good week.

Anything But A Card At Bugaboo
Today is Anything But A Card Day over at Bugaboo and I took the opportunity to make a couple of adorable gift boxes for my grand daughters. With all the great Holiday Images that Jodie has these were fun to make. I used Bugaboo's Images EC Big Egg, EB Eggs, Floral Easter Eggs, and Floral Easter Eggs. I had made Easter Cards last year using these images and had left overs so I decided to recycle them into these cute little gift boxes. I'm so clever sometimes.
A close up showing the layers and the sparkling Modge Podge.
Look how shiny that is.
These were so easy to make.
I hope you all have a great day.

A Green Challenge Over At Dilly Beans
So this week over at Dilly Beans we have a Green Challenge for you. We would love to see green. With Saint Patties Day coming up this would be a good theme to follow, or if you would like to do something that promotes conservation, that works but mainly, we would like to see the color Green. Oh green with envy could be a theme too. How fun. Can you just see some of Megan's images all done with green skin?
So for my card today I used some fun papers from a DCWV Stack I have had forever and some words that came from another DCWV Stack that is even older. The Image I used is Megan's #537
Poppy Set. The doily at the back of the page is cut using the new Martha Stewart Circle Edge Punch. I picked mine up at Michaels. This is another cool video.
The background Tag is made using a piece of Acrylic paper pad,(great texture) from WallMart and some acrylics and shimmer sprays. The image is colored with Copics.
And inside.
