It is New Release Day At Bugaboo

Today is New Release Day at Bugaboo and today we are showcasing this months Digi Club images. This is just two of the images out of the 20 that you get for just $20. Now how can you beat that?
If you run over to the Bugaboo Challenge Blog you can check out what the other Designers have to share with you today and then you can run to the shop and grab your own set of Digis Here. Remember Valentines Day will be here before you know it and all these images will be perfect for you to send, make gift bags with or sit your kids down with a couple of sheets and have them get busy on making their own Valentines to share. That's what I plan to do with my Granddaughter this Friday. Quality Time with Nana. Woo Hoo!
Here is a rabbit that I made from Shrinkie Dink plastic last week and attached it to a cute little tulle flower that I made. This could also be glued to a barette or a pin backing for a quick gift.
I cut the heart from paper and then sewed all the layers together with a button on the back.   I colored this with Copics and used white gel pen for white accents and then punched holes in the center and then shrunk it
Hope you enjoyed this. What a great little gift.
Have a great day everyone.

It Is Pile It On Sunday. Woo Hoo

This week at Pile It On the Challenge is Cute Kids, and it is being sponsored by Sassy Cheryl and you will love Cheryls images when you see them. She has a ton of Cute Kids to choose from. You can see the projects that the rest of the Pile It On Design Team did HERE.
I picked this image called A Little Bird Told Me to make my card this week and I used Bo Bunny Crazy Love Papers that I went out and bought today. So pretty. I wish I could have combined more pieces but alas the card wouldn't have gone along with the wonderful Sketch that I'm using this week by Sketch Saturday.
I colored my image with Copics and did a bit of tearing and distressing with Distress Inks. I added a few buttons and pearls and a bit of metal and some very glittery pink paper to finish it all off.

It Is A New Challenge

This week at Bugaboo we want to see some Embossing. It can be either dry embossing or wet or do some of both. Run over to the Bugaboo Challenge Blog and see what the Design Team has to share with you today. I chose to use a few of my Tim Holtz embossing folders and check out those hearts on the left, I used a set of Cuttlebug folders to emboss them and then cut them out and added a sticker. The background piece of paper is embossed as is the piece of black glitter paper under the Bugaboo Deacon Image.

Here is a close up of the hearts. It is hard to tell in these photos but the frosting on the cupcake is a coat of Golden Gel Medium and then I used Copics over the top of that. For the image on the black that took a bit of figuring but I did it. First I made a new layer and set the background to be black. Next I took the PNG digi image and sized it and pulled it over to the black background. To save on ink I just cropped the image on the black to the size I wanted and printed that. I love how vivid the colors are with that black background. And then I used a white gel pen to make the doodles.
The paper I used for this card is Bo Bunny Crush 6"X6" pad and the sketch I used is from the Sweet Sketch Wednesday.Challenge Blog. I will be entering this.
Yesterday I made this card with the Bugaboo Friday Freebie image and I mentioned the border strip that is done here in yellow. I came across this idea on the Heartfelt Creations Blog There are instructions you can print out if you go here. Martha Stewart Garden Trellis and Daisy Scallop Instructions

Here are 3 that I did with the Martha Stewart and then the small one used the CK punch. Imagine all the possibilities. Okay now run over to Bugaboo for all the Details for todays Challenge.
Have a great day and a wonderful weekend.

Friday Freebie

Today is Friday Freebie over at Bugaboo and this little bird is so cute. You have to run over to the Chalenge Blog and check out all the samples by the Design Team and then go to the Store and pick up your own Freebie and see the other new images in the set.
For my card today I colored Jodies image with my Copics and then I printed out some Digi papers and embelishments from Lettering Delights (the cats and the balloons) and popped up stuff with Dimensionals.  The yellow bborder across the bottom is made with a CK punch.
Tomorrow I will share some other examples that I made and a link to the instructions.
Have a great day and I hope you come by Tomorrow for the new Challenge at Bugaboo and see the afore mentioned  borders.

A New Challenge At Bugaboo.

First of all this is the First of Janurary (Can You Believe It?) and that means that the Bugaboo January Digi Club Images are ready for you to grab over in the store. Woo Hoo Look at these cuties? I cant wait to start my Valentines.
Okay today is the start of a New Challenge at Bugaboo and we really hope you join us with an Anything Goes Project. I myself decided to make a Birthday Card for my daughters Father-In-Law. He is about the only one who ever gets his card on time because I know to send it out right after Christmas. Well guess what. It is still sitting in my handy organizer waiting for a stamp and envelope.  I love Gus, He is just too darn cute and you can find a lot more in the store Here. I used the new Basic Grey paper line Hopscotch on this card and a bunch of stickers.
Have a great weekend.
